Beautifully decorated 2 BR/2 BA condo overlooking outdoor pool. This condo is located on the 2nd floor and the complex features tennis courts, an additional indoor pool, and a jacuzzi. The unit has two master bedrooms, each with en suite full bathrooms. The living space overlooks the outdoor pool on the grounds of the complex. A spacious living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen, truly make this condo your home away from home. For your convenience, the condo is equipped with a washer and dryer. For additional accommodations, the living room and den are equipped with new sleeper sofas and kitchenette with stove and refrigerator. We recently made new renovations including new flooring, window treatments, furniture and decor. This condo sleeps at least six adults comfortably. What a great place to spend your vacation!

Absolutely loved it!

This was our first trip to Hilton head Island and we absolutely loved it. This condo is beautiful and an incredible size. The walk to the beach is easier than I ever imagined that it could be and that was very helpful with two young kids. The condo is beautifully decorated and very clean as well. The washer and dryer in the unit was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your family's vacation home with mine. We will definitely be coming back!

Great get away

Enjoyed my time at 211 Oceanwalk, new floors are nice. The internet connection in the condo did not work, actually logged onto Oceanwalk had more success. Enjoyed

Smelled Like Smoke and No Refund

I arrived for Labor Day weekend with my girlfriend to be met by a terrible aroma of smoke. I contacted the owner regarding the smell, but being that I turned off my phone and email for the weekend due to the fact that I was on vacation. I didn't see her offer to have a cleaner come until we were packing the night before we left.

This was courteous of her, but clearly too late for our trip. Once I asked for a partial refund due to the overwhelming smell of smoke, the owner said that she would send me a refund, but then asked for more personal information from me, including my driver's license, which she had not asked me to provide at any other point in the transaction.

I refused her request, largely because I do not like sending scanned versions of my personal identification over the internet, and also found it fishy that someone would have no problem charging a credit card to rent her condo, but then all of a sudden needed it to verify my identify for a refund. It seems like someone who is trying to rent a condo while having knowledge of a defect in their property if I have ever heard of such a story.

Now, over after a month of waiting, I have not received a response to my last email nor a check to refund the fact that our weekend was severely tarnished by the smell of smoke.

More recent reviews say the condo is in better shape now, but I will still heed fair warning to anyone considering renting this condo that the owner is S-H-A-D-Y. They seem unwilling to adhere to their end of the bargain, which is to provide you with an enjoyable lodging experience. They seem all too quick to advertise how incredible their condo is, but then to fail to do anything to remedy the fact that their condominium smelled like cigarette smoke the entire time we stayed there.

Overall, find somewhere else to stay. The price may look right, but the complete lack of professionalism on behalf of the owner's actions (or lack thereof) appalled me as a person whose family rents out our condominium on VRBO as well.

Owner's Response: Andrew, I'm very sorry that you chose to write a scathing review. Yes, I did offer to have the cleaning service come in again to fix the problem. At that time, I assumed that everything was fine since I did not get a response from you. I had a previous renter state that there was an odor of smoke weeks prior to you, and had the entire unit deep cleaned as well as the carpeting and furniture. It is a non- smoking condo and several building maintenance people had said it was drifting from other units, possibly from the vents. I did offer to give you a partial refund, but I was distracted by the fact that my mother had passed away suddenly. Sorry, I was not thinking that I needed to send a refund during that time. I did ask for a copy of your drivers license to verify your age, since you were not the initial renter and the content of your emails to me, implied that you were not even of legal age of 25 to rent our condo. You stayed in my furnished home and I felt that I had a right to ask. Since you refused, it only confirmed my suspicion that you were clearly under age. When you emailed me a reminder yesterday, I actually did forget and wrote a check out to you this morning as a courtesy to you. I hope you never have to go through losing a loved one any time in the near future. I know that your mother is still living since she paid for your weekend. However, after your impatience and content of your review I will not be sending it after all. I am no longer feeling courteous . I am not shady, only human and I do respond to all of my renters within a timely fashion.

We found this condo to be a perfect fit for our visit. It was immaculate (NO bugs whatsoever!), tastefully furnished, a great view of the pool area, and an efficient and well stocked kitchen. All located in an attractive and secure building. Short and scenic walk to the beach, only took about 8 minutes when pulling the wagon and beach chairs that were provided. Short walk to plaza filled with shops, restaurants and grocery store. Far exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to staying here again!

The odor in the room with the queen bed was very strong and almost unbearable. The bathroom smelled like someone smoked in it for a long time and the faucet for the shower is broken. We saw several roaches in the kitchen. I placed several boxes of baking soda around the condo and this helped us get through the weekend. We ate out everyday and kept all of our food in the refrigerator. This was our only family summer vacation, so we were disappointed to say the least. My girls did enjoy the boogie boards though.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry that you felt disappointed. Each renter is given 2 contact numbers to call with any questions or problems. No one was contacted or the problems would have been taken care of. The renters after you reported the plumbing problem and a plumber was contacted and everything was fixed the next day. After reading this, the exterminator was also contacted and bombed the whole unit yesterday. The odor I was told, was most likely the carpeting that is scheduled to be cleaned in 1 week, between renters. With renters in back to back, things break just like they do at home. However, if we are not informed we cannot rectify them in a timely fashion.
