Very dissatisfying stay. Check in/ check out was seamless. Correspondence with the management company included quick responses but no action on our concerns. Many things were missing in the house including garbage bags, kitchen towels, and paper towels. Few very poor quality towels were provided. Only one dishwasher pod, one laundry pod, and one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay of a week. Upon arrival we found a mouse trap. We had messaged about having a kid so this was concerning to me. But also, I would have been more concerned had we had our dog with us. The management company (Elk Ridge Management and Seabird Valley) expects the renter to take the trash out to the curb for Thursday pick up. We arrived very late on Wednesday night…. To a full garbage can, covered with ants, and were expected to take it down a step to the street. I have never stayed in a rental where that wasn’t coordinated by the owner. It’s also not our responsibility to take someone else’s garbage to the curb upon arrival. I get it if you’re there for over a week and there are no ants on it. But even taking it down the steps seems like a presumptuous ask. They said they would ask for a mid week pick up but never sent anyone to bring it to the curb. So we had a full can sitting in our front yard our entire stay…. And nowhere to put the garbage we produced. All the pillows were flat. There are gaps in the doors in which you can see light through so a/c was never as cool as we set it.
