Just steps away from the ski slopes at the Summit, you can find, this versatile studio condo. It is a winter delight! Free resort shuttle service is available for short rides to Schuss Mtn. Cedar River and into town. So park your car and leave the transportation to us. Enjoy breakfast at the Lake View Hotel, just steps away. Then spend the day on the slopes or tubing with the kids at the Summit! Stop by Sarducci's for dinner. Then finally stretch out on a California King Size bed, to put your feet up and relax. This studio condo has a small living area and coffee table and can be used as a cozy little suite for two. Or use the versatility of the futon couches to provide plenty of space for 2 more couples or a few kids. You can use the coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge to heat and store your snacks.
We are “pet friendly” and often bring our 4 legged furry friends with us when we stay. People with well behaved dogs are welcome and people with pet allergies should take note. We always have a great time when we visit the resort and are happy to help you do the same. Private Wi-Fi, Digital steaming TV, ROKU, Blu-Ray player and radio provide the “down time” entertainment. Everything you could want, is literally steps away. Spa, fitness center and so much more. Located at Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire, Michigan. Wonderful place to stay

It was a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and inviting. Close to golf courses and restaurants in Shanty Creek and only 15 minutes from Bellaire. We had a great time and would book this room again.

Annual anniversary trip

We stayed here on our anniversary and it was just as advertised. Condo was clean and comfortable, centrally located for everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

Wonderful place!

We stayed here for a family ski trip. Two adults and two kids, aged 7 and 9. The space is laid out with a great deal of care to maximize the square footage. The kitchen somehow has everything you need in a very small footprint. Several nice and thoughtful touches throughout. It's a short walk to the shuttle pickup location, which is right next to the tubing hill. We had no trouble with parking. Overall, we would not hesitate to book again.

Anniversary Weekend

We came up to Bellaire for a ski weekend for our Anniversary. My husband and I found the room very clean, organized and pleasantly decorated. All the amenities for showering, sleeping and kicking back and cooking were available. Our hosts were friendly and attentive and available. However, it is not a ski out location which we understood from the add which said, "Just steps away from the ski slopes at the Summit" We had not visited this area for over 10 years and was thinking we could ski Shanty Creek just steps away however the ski resort surrounding the condo is now closed to skiing. We were disappointed, however we were not disappointed in the property. So if you are okay with the location this is a wonderful place for a get away. Only 5-10 minutes from Bellaire, Short's Brewry and a lovely dinning place called Terrain.

Ski weekend

When some think of luxury they think of fancy faucets, cabinets, beds and floors. But this condos luxury comes from the owners, service, kindness and all that implies. The condo itself is clean, well stocked with everything you need. In a wonderful complex with nice amenities. And better than advertised. That being said it isn’t the the condo that makes your stay amazing. It’s Kat and Skip, the owners. They go above and beyond. Answer any question promptly and make everything easy peasy. But it is their kindness that’s wonderful and heartfelt. It was Christmas and my daughters first ski trip. She has worked so hard this year and seemed incredibly down and stressed. I asked these guys if they could possibly buy her a tree and decorate it for when we arrived. They did!!! And got extra little touches I didn’t ask for. Such incredibly thoughtful people. They made our trip unforgettable. Thank you!! If you want an absolutely amazing vacation with luxury treatment stay here!! I definitely will be doing so again.

Location, Location, Location

Perfect 2-night rental for 2 adults and a 22# dog. Spotless, well-maintained, well-stocked, bright bathroom. We found everything we needed for our morning coffee. (The coffee maker is traditional drip.) Roomy portable fridge for storing wine and doggy bags. We didn’t cook meals, but the kitchenette was clean and seemed well stocked. ROKU. Wi-Fi. Nice double window with screens. Cozy deck. King-size bed was comfortable - lots of pillows. Beautiful setting with lots of old growth trees. Be aware this is a back unit accessible by stairs.

Perfect retreat

We enjoyed our stay from the moment we walked into the condo. The view from the front window was gorgeous and the surrounding neighborhood very nice for walking the dog and enjoying the mornings and evenings. A quiet place as well. Also, very nicely located close to Charlevoix and Traverse City.

Just as described!

Perfect! Clean and cozy, great for 1-2 people (or couples). The unit was nice, slept great and AC worked wonderful. The property is gorgeous and it was so quiet. The place itself was perfect and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The actual town/area was extremely limited on food (and what was open, tasted horrible - from a southern girl). Most things close by 8-9pm. With that being said, BRING GROCERIES - unless you want to drive an hour to Traverse city (where the food selection is AMAZING). If you are well prepared with food, this is a great trip!

Tubing Fun!

We had a great stay! Kat and Skip’s condo is super clean and located right across the street from where the Alpine Tubing is located. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

Great for a Ski Weekend

Excellent place to stay when skiing at Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek. It's a short drive to both the lifts and downtown Bellaire. Incredibly clean and easy check-in/-out process. Having the kitchenette was a big bonus.

Had Everything We Needed

Unit was very clean and had lots of blankets and pillows to keep all four of us comfy. We also appreciated that the basics like toilet paper and garbage bags were provided, unlike some other units we’ve rented. Overall, great stay and would stay again.

Short drive to beach, pool, and grill

Cute condo/ studio apartment on the beautiful Shanty Creek grounds. Amazing sunset view. Just a short drive (less than a mile) to the private beach club on Bellaire Lake. The grill that’s available is also at the beach club. The sunset was great at the beach club too. (Property had been updated since pictures were taken for add.)

cancer patient request to see Torch Lake.

It looked nice in the pictures. after I paid and confirmed, was told it was upstairs. The price was reasonable and I paid thinking the people with my sick daughter(her daughter,grand daughter, and sister)could hep her. there were storms while only 2 days there which resulted in no power. It was very hot upstairs. Then they found out that the lake was not good to swim beccause of algea growrh. these two factors made them leave after 2 nights. The storms did a lot of damage so many things were shut down. 2nd floor of condo. stairs not good. one large step at bottom. Not for handicapped. left early because of storms. (power off due to storm) Could use screens on patio door.

Michigan's staycation

We wanted to spend the weekend up north and go skiing at shanty Creek. We found this property and it was a no-brainer to book. Everything was really close and the property itself was perfect for the two of us and our dog. We had a great time and would highly recommend this little studio for your stay.
