We invite you to enjoy our home away from home located on the desirable West Side of Cedar Creek Lake only 60 miles from downtown Dallas! The home has a covered deck cooled by ceiling fans and a breeze off the lake! Steps lead to a hammock for napping on a lazy day or looking out on a beautifully treed yard sloping down to the lake. There is a boat dock with a top sunning deck. You can gaze at the stars or watch the gorgeous sunsets over the lake! While some may want to relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a cocktail or swim and fish off the dock, others can enjoy a family adventure on the calm waters. Please note that in the very late summer, the water depth at our dock is sometimes more shallow if we have not had rain.

Inside you will notice the breathtaking, panoramic open water view through the large windows while enjoying the ambiance set by the vaulted cedar ceiling and beams and beautiful decor. The open concept living/dining areas lead directly to the outdoors, so you are only steps from the lake! The living area is airy and comfortable. The well-stocked kitchen has plenty of storage and is open to the living and dining areas, including an eat-in bar and large farmhouse table that seats 10 where you can enjoy meals all while enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake! There is an additional dining table on the covered deck outside. There is a laundry room with full-sized W/D for your use. Three large bedrooms in the main house are designed with comfort and function in mind. All bedrooms have a large private bath, and there is an additional full bath in the hall. The master has a gorgeous view of the lake and a king bed. Bedroom #2 has 2 queen beds, while bedroom #3 has a queen bed plus a bunk bed set.

Our detached guest room with bath has an additional queen bed. Please note that our home is not designed to hold more than the full capacity of 13 guests, so weddings or parties (loud music) are not allowed. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, and we want to be good neighbors.

We are sorry, but owner is allergic to pet dander, so no pets are allowed.

There is a fire pit outside near the lake. Enjoy a gas grill and convection oven in addition to a refrigerator. Some condiments and spices are stocked. A 12-cup coffeemaker with carafe will keep your coffee hot, and we also provide a Keurig coffeemaker.

In addition to all of the water views and activities, this home offers a great location to venture off to Canton for a day at the flea market (one hour drive), Malakoff or Athens for antiquing, or Seven Points and Gun Barrel City for a night out for dinner, movie theater, bingo or the Whatz-up Family Recreation Park for the kids (big and small). We even have our own local brewery with great craft beers and food as well as Triple N Winery with live music. The wonderful, private location and calm waters can provide the backdrop for a romantic anniversary or couples getaway, a holiday retreat, or a nice family vacation any time of the year. Either way, you'll make unforgettable memories.
