A nice old farm house with loads of character. Well maintained and provisioned. Very convenient to New Paltz. Spacious property. Quiet at night. Chickens were fun to see and they did not crow when the sun rose. Hope to return to this house in the future.

The house was beautifully decorated and cozy!! Loved the view and the walk around the pond! Loved how close it was to the town and university. Loved the fresh eggs! A great place to stay! Would definitely stay again!

What a lovely space! We had a great time - Ray’s place is perfect and just as described. It was very well appointed and was the perfect mix of feeling like a country retreat but being just minutes away from town. 10/10 would stay again

Stayed three nights with my husband, August 2026. Very scenic n welcomed by sweet chickens and a big orange cat. This greeting made I feel right at home. A little noisy with the main road adjacent to the property. As stated by the host in a review response "come back in the summer when you can use the pool. "This was not the case. There seem to be restrictions that I was never made aware of before booking. the host emphasized that the pool was not necessarily available for use. contact him if using the pool is something ur interested in. Although the farmhouse was charming, the cleanliness factor was a bit lacking. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful!

Our family loved staying here! It was perfect for a family of four: from having 3 beds, to a large living room where we played games, to a kitchen with everything we needed to make breakfasts and dinner. The host was very nice, the property is beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again!

Stayed while touring SUNY New Paltz. A very short and easy drive to the college and town. Property was nice and peaceful. House was cozy with a lot of fun decorative pieces. Ray was a very welcoming and kind host.

Beautiful spot!

Ray’s place is a wonderful oasis of relaxation, calm and beauty. Our family really enjoyed the quiet of the space and the beautiful grounds of the home. We loved how the house was close to town but also very quiet. We would love to return again.

The property was beautiful, loved the trees and pond and chickens! The house was historic and charming and cozy, loved the farm house decor, beds were very comfortable. Loved how close the house is to campus.

Great Rental

Lovely comfortable house. Great porch facing the lake and woods. Perfect spot to begin or end the day. Close to town and hiking. We’re so happy we found this rental.
