Beautiful views and wide open area from kitchen to living room. This place is perfect for families that like to cook and entertain. We had an amazing time staying here. Each bedroom has their own full bath plus a full bath on the main floor.

Our family has owned this property on Deep Hole Creek for half a century. Originally, it was just a late 19th century clam shack. Our photo gallery includes some shots of the old blue clam house. Epiphany was completed in 2003, and then in 2009 the clam was replaced by Eureka!

Why they chose this property

We really like being out of the way at the north end of Deep Hole Road, which dead-ends into the Oyster Bay development. There is some traffic, but it is not thru-traffic.
We bike into town and to the beach. Some of our grown kids run.
Check out Gary Howard's seafood, Amarin bakery, and the Captain Tim Hill House.

What makes this property unique

The reverse floor plan with the upstairs living/dining kitchen area has a massive array of windows overlooking little Oyster Bay, Oyster Bay and Assateague. Some of the photos show these views. We have a deep water dock, and are convenient to the town ramp at Fir Landing. Lots of people bring boats. But we also have water toys shared with Eureka! Many houses on Chincoteague are older, and have charm, but lack the space for King size beds and ensuite bathrooms. We have two bedrooms with King Beds, two with 2 twins each, and all 4 bedrooms have ensuite baths. When we designed the house with famous Chincoteague designer Richard Vesley, he insisted on King beds and all ensuite baths. We were dubious, but he got his way and many guests have enjoyed these over the years.
