About this property

This ground floor duplex apartment is positioned overlooking a delightful swimming pool within secure community grounds. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen off the entrance hall and next to it is the downstairs bathroom. Into the lounge area is table and chairs and seating for 6 people, with TV, radio, CD and DVD player. Through the sliding patio doors onto the private terrace overlooking the pool with table and chairs for 6 people. There is an extendible awning for those hot summer evenings. Upstairs leads to the master bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom. A further 2 bedrooms with twin beds and a main bathroom. All bedrooms fitted with built-in wardrobes and drawers.
Outside, there are community landscaped gardens to the front and back with a small childrens play area. The underground car park is accessed by staircase or lift to your reserved car parking space. At the back of this space is our storeroom for garden/ beach chairs, loungers and snorkelling equipment.
NOTE - The urbanisation have voted to have the exterior of the apartments painted. This should take place in SPRING 2019 but we cannot be sure of timings or any disruption at this stage.

Additional information about our apartment: Our holiday home is located in Cala Blanca, a fairly quiet suburb of Javea but is easily accessible to the three main areas of Javea. Firstly, the very popular Arenal beach, with it's golden sands bordered with bars, restaurants and shops. Secondly, the port area with it's fishing harbour, beautiful promenade with many restaurants, bars and shops. Thirdly, the old town with many historic buildings, narrow streets and markets.
Our apartment is a great base for a family holiday with mostly English and Spanish families. We have had many holidays there ourselves and have equipped the place with all the things that a family would need away from home.

Tennis: There are local tennis courts for hire per hour.
5 minutes walk away at Toscamar Club, 5 minutes drive is Javea Club de Tenis and 10 mins drive to the courts at Javea Golf club.

Fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the beach and sunny weather

Very cozy house, with a terrace where you can have lunch and dinner overlooking the pool. All the furniture is almost new. Everything very clean. The owner is charming. Always ready to make things easier

Close to Arenal clean and everything you need but no WiFi Tv signal or air conditioning

The owner is very helpful and the property is well situated and clean There is no tv signal so you can only watch DVD’s there is no WiFi but plenty in cafes around and there is no air conditioning but plenty of fans not sure how they’d cope in the height of summer though You know all this before you go though as the owner is very upfront about it There is plenty of room in the apartment and the bed we slept in was comfortable The only downside for me personally was that I was ill while I was out there and there was no medical information in the properties handbook which I found strange and lacking I needed an emergency doctor on a Saturday and if I didn’t have family living in Javea I wouldn’t have know where to access this That aside Javea is a quiet family resort not too far from Benidorm or nightlife with plenty of restaurants Not sure if we would stay again maybe maybe not the only thing that would stop us us the WiFi tv situation

Great for families

Nice property although terrace area and furniture looking tatty. Could do with with a TV upgrade very difficult to get a signal on most channels. Overall clean and tidy, convenient for local supermarket, nice walks and 15 mins to beach.

Home from Home, ticks all the boxes you need for a very successful holiday.

A very safe, dignified, secure property that attracts the right kind of people who will help enhance you time in, “Javea”. As first timers staying at this property it’s only natural that you have some concerns or trepidation, that the place will live up to it’s billing, but any question marks that we may have had, very quickly faded away once we arrived and settled in. We would throughly recommend to all and sundry, come and have a go if you want a great holiday.

Great location and the property itself was lovely.

However there were a few points which were a bit disappointing for a 'luxury' property 1. No wifi.. this is the 21st century. 2. The oven was basic ( not fan assisted) so cooking in the apartment wasn't very easy.. compared to home.. the owner needs to invest in a better oven. This is HomeAway after all. 3. We had a problem with the patio door not locking securely. This was rectified quite quickly, but the owners rep made us feel a bit 'fussy' for even thinking this was a problem. I know Javea is not a high crime area but customers need to be sure their valuables are secure when they go out for the day. 4. There was a drain hose attached to the hot water system in the kitchen which drained into a plastic water bottle. All a bit Heath Robinson in my opinion. The bottle overflowed and we came down to a puddle of water on the kitchen floor one morning. There were no instructions about this in the handbook and no sign warning visitors that the bottle needs emptying regularly. Needs a better system or at the very least a sign in the kitchen to advise visitors that the bottle need emptying regularly. 5. The towels are very old and scratchy.

A great Apartment in a perfect location. Would suit families with children of all ages.

We returned from our holiday just over a week ago. My partner, 4 children and I had an brilliant time. The Apartment was really clean and well equipped for a family of six. It was also very spacious and a fantastic location for the swimming pool which was right outside the patio doors. The patio area was very welcoming with a nice awning that was needed on those hot days. The amenities were also close by, although we had a car as we went to lots of places you could of easily not had one as there is a bus just outside that you can get to the beach, bars and restaurants. We would love to return next year if possible.

Lovely apartment.

An excellent well presented three bed apartment. Accommodation is of a good standard and would have rated 5 star had it been closer to the sea front which is walking distance away. An unexpected bonus is a secure parking space which in holiday season is invaluable. The apartment is fully equipped and the onsite facilities provide a good alternative to walking to the beach

Wonderful setting and we are booking again for next year.

From the moment I booked this property with Roger the communication was wonderful. He was incredibly helpful and I would highly recommend him for both this reason and his lovely apartment. Ourselves and our children aged 14, 8 and 5 (and also our daughters friend, aged 14) are absolutely in love with this apartment. Upon arrival we soon fell in love with the patio area that overlooks the pool. This was just wonderful for me as I could sit at the table enjoying breakfast and watching the children in the pool. The awning is a god send! For those intensely heated afternoons where I could escape into the shade and still be a protective mother and keep those beady eyes on the children. The three bedrooms are a perfect size with the main bedroom benefitting from an en suite (perfect for our privacy with 4 children in tow). The main bathroom is also a lovely size and with an added downstairs shower room we were very spoilt for choice. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Which I don't usually manage to find and had a very wonderful and restful sleep. The kitchen is fitted out perfectly. Although I only cooked once whilst there, there was every utensil, crockery, glass and cup you would ever need. The children really enjoyed escaping into the living room of an afternoon, away from the heat and watching a DVD. Under the ceiling fans they would soon cool down. The Arenal is a 15 minute walk away. And there is a local supermarket around a 5 minute walk. I met Kerry once whilst I was there (Kerry is the loveliest lady that maintains the cleanliness and maintenance of the apartment) and she had managed to replace a broken kettle for me within an hour of me mentioning it to her. I really couldn't recommend this highly enough. We have stayed in a lot of villas over the years and I have never felt the need to return to them, preferring to try somewhere new. But this year I do. We all want to return here. This was genuinely like having our own villa. The pool is never busy and the children had it to themselves every day bar perhaps one hour when you would see another person. Truly fantastic and we are definitely going back.

Welcoming and comfortable.

Great property in great location

Overall we where very pleased with the property, very clean and tidy, great location walk out door and straight to pool. House cleaner Lou and her Family are very nice and helpful people. We will definitely stay here again. Also only 15 mins walk from the Arenal, Only things stopping it from 5 rating is no air-con but this was not a major issue as ceiling fans and free standing fans also provided, although fans a little noisy when trying to sleep, Also I feel could have been better equipped for small Children with travel cot and high chair these are not a big expense and would really save families the hassle of bringing them or the expense of renting them. Roger the owner is also very helpful and easy to contact, look forward to staying here again in the coming years. Thanks

Excellent very good

This place was lively with 3 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms it gave us a lot of space having 2 kids. The pool was great only being within 10m from the patio. For us gong end of May start of June it wasn't over busy so we had the pool all the time with the help of a few other kids. We like javea we like this place. Sorry roger we will be going to the US next year but the following summer we will look out for you again. Thanks Dave cox

Outstanding Holiday accommodation in javea.

We rented this apartment for 2 weeks as a family of 4....2 adults, 14 year daughter and a 8 year old son. On arrival to the apartment our first impressions was it was extremely clean and well kept, with lovely surroundings. The facilities were as described if not better!! The kitchen had good equipment and the apartment in general was well equipped. The location to the beach and nightlife was perfect as we could all walk easily there and back, with supermarkets even closer up the road. The pool was kept clean and maintained. We have totally enjoyed our holiday here, making friends with others in the block were we shared many fond memories and can not wait to return. If I was totally picky I would recommend air conditioning but on the whole it didn't make that much difference as we are hoping to return next year.

high quality acommodation

The apartment is perfect, comfortable, very spacious and it is in a very good condition, furthermore it has a good location near the Arenal sandy beach and cala Blanca, my only "con" could be a "pro" for anyone because it´s a very familiar place with little children and they not always respect the rules about resting time but everything else about the apartment is really top quality.

our holidays in javea

dear roger, there was great holidays, like the last year, in your appartment. There is all we need in the room and the kitchen ( maybe you'll can buy more flatware). The housekeeper is very sympathic and helpful. However there was steals in a night and some beach material disapeared. But this event did not spoil our holidays and we will come with the same pleasure the next summer. best wishes, isabelle.

Spacious and very clean apartment

The apartment was very clean well laid out and spacious It was handy to have a shower room downstairs. The kitchen is very well equipped - I cooked most nights for our young children and managed very well to find every thing i needed even things you may not expect juicers graters loads of bowls and pans etc The main Arenal beach is a 15 minute walk but is along well lit and level pavements There is a lovely beach bar 5 mins walk , a rocky beach (not suitable for kids but great for snorkelling) 5 mins away. The pool and gardens were well kept and clean. Negatives were just the noise from the road which was a little busier than we had anticipated as it is the main bus route and noisy all day and night. All in all a great place for the kids and it was nice to meet and chat to other families staying at the apartments. It was good to have secure parking as well.

Perfect home, perfect place, perfect surroundings

It was great again being in this house so near the rock/pebbles beach Cala Blanca of Javea/Xabia! Everything at hand in the house, from microwave and snorkels to 3 bathrooms and washingmachine. A large and bright house in a perfect quarter of Javea/Arenal: clubs, restaurants, boulevard, shops,supermarkets, the beach in a 20 min walk, a chirinquito (small beachrestaurant with tapas and good prices) in a 2 min walk and a 10 min lovely walk alongside the searocks to the most perfect pebbles beach! And don't forget the swimmingpool in front of the house! And the nice courteous treat of the housekeeper! And ... and ... and ... :D Geweldig om weer terug te zijn in dit huis zo vlakbij het rotsen/grindstrand, de Cala Blanca, van javea/Xabia. Alles is bij de hand in dit huis, van magnetron tot snorkels en van 3 badkamers tot een wasmachine. Een ruim en licht huis, in een mooie wijk van Javea/Arenal: clubs, restauarants, boulevard, winkeltjes, supermarkten, het zandstrand op 20 min lopen, een strandtent met heerlijke en goedkope tapas op 2 min lopen en na 10 min lopen langs een prachtig pad met rotsen langs de zee kom je bij het meets perfect grindstrand om te snorkelen en zwemmen en zonnebaden. Vergeet het zwembad voor het huis niet. En ook niet de hartelijke en attente ontvangst van de huisbewaarder. En ... En .... En ... :D

Clean, tidy, well equipped apartment.

Set in a quiet location, situated next to the pool. The apartment is clean and tidy and the owner has thoughtfully provided water, wine beer etc on arrival. Being situated in a quieter part of Javea it is about a 15 minute walk to the excellent bars and restaurants at the Arenal. Would make an excellent apartment for families, could benefit from Sky TV !

Home from Home

Wow.What a fantastic place to spend your holiday.The apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious.The view from the patio onto the pool was amazing.The apartment was equiped with everything that you need to make your holiday special.It was only a fifteen min walk into Javea for the beach and restaurants.The owner had arranged for a neighbour to pop around to make sure all was ok,which we thought was a very nice touch.Basicly don't waste your time and effort trawling through holiday rental sites.Book this gem and you wont be dissapointed.

Perfect Holiday Home

I would like to thank Roger for renting out his lovely holiday apartment to me and my two children in April. He gave a great service and we were well looked after. The apartment was a fantastic size, clean and had everything I needed. Home from home. Being on the ground floor was perfect as I could supervise the children playing in the pool located just outside the patio doors. 10 minute walk to the Arenal and it's sandy beach and the local supermarket was a 2 minute walk. We had a fantastic holiday and would most definitely recommend this apartment to any types of groups. Cant wait to book for next year. Thanks again Roger. Naomi, Georgie & James Bone.
