Beautifully remodeled, modern and spacious town home, 2400 sq ft over three floors. 4 bedrooms, 3 with en-suites bathrooms, 1 shared bathroom. 2 queen bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with full/twin bunks, 6 beds in all for 8-10 people. Parking for two cars, hot tub access, heated garage for ski storage, vaulted ceiling lounge with surround sound, Smart TV & Cable, Games rooms with pin ball machine & foosball table, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer. This amazing location is a short walk to the ski resort gondola and restaurants.

Bedroom 1 - Master bedroom with queen bed, dressing room, smart TV & media unit, seating area & table, master ensuite with shower, large bathtub, twin sinks, toilet room.

Upstairs landing - Pinball, Foosball, seating area, washer & dryer.

Bedroom 2 - Middle floor queen bed, wardrobe, draw unit.

Dinning room - Beautiful copper table, 8 chairs, 3 further stools at kitchen bar, copper topped storage unit.

Kitchen - Well stocked kitchen with oven, cooker, microwave, dish washer, coffee brewer, blender, kettle, toaster, worktop grill, waffle maker, fondu set, lots of crockery, glasses, cutlery, cocktail shakers, coffee, tea etc. Bose bluetooth speaker.

Lounge - Cosy spacious seating area with two large leather sofas, media unit including many games, smart TV & cable, surround sound, electric blinds, beautiful chandelier, book case with books, gas fire, door into on to balcony.

Bedroom 3 - Lower left, full bed & twin bunk, wardrobes, smart TV, ensuite with bath, shower & toilet.

We stayed here during the week of Christmas 2025. The space was perfect for our family of 4. Host lives in town and was extremely responsive. They checked in on us frequently to make sure everything was ok and came out to help in person when we had a slight issue with the garage. (user error on our part). Location very convenient too, walking distance to the gondola and base of mountain shops/restaurants.

Great townhome and location

Beautiful townhome with well appointed kitchen and all the comforts of home. Clean, great decor and location! Walk to everything and super close to gondola. Would def stay here again!

Perfect family vacation!

This has been our favorite spot so far! The townhouse was perfect for our family, plenty of space and very clean. We loved that it was ski and ski out. Dan was so helpful and accommodating! Will definitely be back! FIVE STARS FOR SURE! Don’t hesitate to book this townhouse! Thanks so much for an amazing vacation!

Beautifully renovated townhome at the base of the mountain.

Our group has been coming to Steamboat for the past 7-8 years and this by far the best place we've stayed. The newly renovated unit was superb. It accommodated our group of four perfectly and the location was ideal at the base of the mountain to ski in/out. Finally, the host Dan was amazing. He was very communicative and helpful and because he's a local, had great recommendations. We'll be staying in the place for years to come!

Girls Ski Trip

Dan was a very responsive host. I sent skis and boots ahead of time and they were lost and Dan kept going back checking to see if they were delivered. Finally we found both the skis and the boots thanks to Dan. Great customer service great place great location

Just Awesome.

Everything about the place and our communication with the owner was perfection. The location was right around the corner from the Gondola, and you’ll be staying a few feet from incredible restaurants, ski shops, Apres ski bars, and only a block away from a lovely market that has everything. The place itself was super clean, stylish, laid out beautifully, and perfect for our party of four, though it comfortably sleeps bigger parties. The owner, Dan, stayed in touch and wanted to make sure we were settled in, and that we were maximizing our time on the mountain and eating at the top spots. We hope to come back and stay here again.

Best ski trip ever!

Our family all agrees this is the nicest vacation rental we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Every year we visit a different ski resort and this was our first visit to Steamboat. We are two families with 4 kids aged 4, 14, 16 and 16. Dan’s townhome is perfectly setup for our dynamic. We cooked breakfast every morning in well appointed kitchen and then we were able to hit the slopes within 30 seconds. From the bedroom window on the main floor we were able to see my Neice at the kids ski school! It’s that close! After a day of skiing we either walked a cross the street to grab a pizza and a beer or went into town. The large kitchen table hosted family card games and funny stories of the day. Dan was a fantastic host and has clearly paid attention to all the details families would need for the ideal vacation. He made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s house . I highly highly recommend staying in Dan’s townhome - you won’t regret it!!

Best Host Ever?

I'll start with this. This is the first review I have ever written. We use VRBO a lot, and I would guess, travel an above average amount I have never felt compelled, however after our stay at Ironwood, I need to let everone know what they can expect. Freom the initial communication, to the days leading up to our stay, during and after, Dan was by far the most attentive, thorough, welcoming, accurate and attentive host we have ever experienced. It felt like we were stayiong with family, or lifelong friends. The pictures and property description were 100% accurate, but undersell the beauty and charm of this perfectly located, and appointed vacation property in Steamboat. This was outr first time in Steamboat, so the information and recommendations provided were so valuable in making our vacation exceptional, and the amenities inculded all the little things you would expect from an owner/occupied property, not a rental. Thank you, Dan for opening your home to us, the stay was magical and memorable. Thank you for answering our questions during our time, and pointing us to the "Hill behind McDonalds", for some local knowledge and the best sledding of our kids lives, or the tip to head to the frozen waterfall for an accessible but transcendent hike in a beautiful wonderland. Cheers to you, Dan, and thank you!

Dan was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. His townhouse was in the perfect location to the base. We had 4 kids (7-11) with us and no one complained about walking to the gondola with skis!! I really appreciated the stocked kitchen as well. We would love to stay here again!
