Whispering River cabin, which features a 1,000 sq. ft. wraparound deck high above the river, furnished with large wooden rocking chairs, an outdoor dining table and cozy new outdoor furnishings. This will be your favorite spot for Eagle watching and taking in all of the breathtaking scenery.
Once you step inside, large windows allow you to enjoy wonderful full views of the forest, the mountains, and the river. The open plan aesthetic keeps you in the company of your group while cooking. Your cell phone may or may not work inside the cabin (ATT works, Verizon does not.) You can completely unplug from the stresses of home life at this cabin, but you will still have satellite WIFI and DirecTV in this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, plus a sleeping loft cabin - a total of 3 Queen beds. The living room features a Smart TV. The 2 full bathrooms offer one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower - tub combination.
After a day of hiking, fishing, swimming, birdwatching, ATV riding and fun, come back to Whispering River to cook dinner on the charcoal grill, then enjoy a roaring fire at the outside fire pit, complete with Bigfoot stories and s'mores . Be sure to pick up some bundles of firewood at the stores in Hochatown.
Prepare your dinner on the charcoal grill with a glass of wine and eat at the outside dining table with a river view you will never forget!
Then cozy up to the ambiance of the electric indoor fireplace lounging on the comfortable couch and chair in the living room with a bowl of popcorn and a movie.
You will fall in love with the chef's dream kitchen, offering an electric range, a dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with built-in ice maker. The kitchen features granite countertops and a huge bar next to a wall of windows and it is supplied with plenty of cookware, dishes, silverware, utensils and glassware, as well as a toaster, drip coffee maker, Keurig, blender, and a crock pot. We provide the ground coffee, creamer, sugar and filters. If you are a fan of the Keurig, bring your favorite K-cups!
A charcoal grill is provided for your outdoor chef's barbecue fun. Don't forget to bring a bag of charcoal, lighter fluid and a long lighter. All bed linens and towels are provided for your convenience. Bring your shampoo. All other possible soaps are provided, including laundry soap, liquid dish soap, hand soap and bath bars of soap.
The absolute best seat in the house is the outside dining table overlooking panoramic mountain forest and river views.
