The beach is about 10 min drive. Within a 10 miles radius you have access to dozen of beautiful beaches and ponds, from Mashpee to Woods Hole up to North Falmouth. Sandwich and Cape Cod Bay are also within 20 min drive. This is a place easy to get in and out and avoid summer traffic via the back roads.
Waquoit bay is within a mile from the house but to access to the nice quiet beach you will need to drive (10min) or bike (~45min on quiet roads) to South Cape Beach and walk the beautiful trail to the Waquoit Bay beach (15min walk). We have a bird, a Macaw, that lives in his cage in the garage by the window. He is generally quiet but can quack once in a while to get your attention, if he sees an animal outside, or if the garage is opened for too long. He loves company but only skilled people should handle him, expect a bite if you handle him like a dog.
Note our check-in time 3.00PM and check out time is 11.00AM.
