This is truly a unique and historic property. The vistas are amazing, and to have a portion of the property actually built over the water is not found anywhere else at Lake Tahoe. To have the seclusion of a beautiful condo with the amenities of a boutique hotel and small marina creates a remarkably relaxing and enjoyable stay. Choose from five unique lakefront or lakeview condos, each with separate living room, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, jetted bathtub or Jacuzzi, wireless internet access and most with flat screen TV's and washer/dryers. Nothing compares to sinking in your private lounge chairs on the deck breathing the clean mountain air while overlooking a postcard view of Lake Tahoe.
Most condo suites are actually over the water, providing a panoramic view of both Lake Tahoe and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. The property managers were very nice and accomodating. We came for NYE with one other couple and a small dog. It was perfect for the 4 of us! Great heating to stay warm, 10 minutes from Northstar was convenient for skiing, and right on a beach to walk the dog and take great photos. Amazing to have lakefront views for a reasonable price! Everything was clean, and it was very spacious. Only downside is the antiquated tv in the living room (not HD) and older kitchen appliances. Didn't bother us though since we were out and about and didn't eat at home. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!
We recently stays at Tahoe Vista Inn, Unit 7. The unit was very comfortable for our party of 6, however the pull out sofa needs to be replaced. The pull out sofa mattress was so old and uncomfortable that the kids made a bed with it and placed it on the living room floor each night. The property manager, Sheri (who's office is directly under this unit) said that they have plans to replace this sofa soon. The unit is a bit dated however the location is wonderful and the views of the lake were delightful. We boarded/skied at Northstar which is only about 10 minutes away so that was really convenient as well.
The condo was super clean and comfortable. It is a bit dated though. It was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. View from the living room is gorgeous! We had an enjoyable and relaxing time kayaking, paddle boarding and hanging out at the beach.
Tahoe Vista Inn Unit 7 exceeded our expectations. The lake views from the large picture windows in the great room and from the private deck were a constant joy to behold. Did I mention you are just steps from the water, pier, restaurant/lounge, and North Shore boat taxi? Talk about convenience! The spacious, well appointed rooms, well equipped kitchen, and very clean place made for a most relaxing and comfortable stay. We look forward to coming back again.
Very comfortable stay with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe from the living room. Convenient to have a restaurant right there (food is ok and the convenience makes it worth the price), and close to beaches and marina. Enjoyable two nights. We will be back.
