A Lakefront Retreat for Families & Friends

Relax with the whole family at this serene lakefront getaway nestled among the trees overlooking beautiful Lake Anna. Located in a gated community on the public side of the lake, this peaceful hideaway offers the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and fun.

🛏 The Space

This comfortable five-bedroom, three-bath home is ideal for large families or two smaller families traveling together. It sleeps up to 14 guests (6 adults / 8 children) with a thoughtful layout and plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and bunk beds

Full bathroom

Open living, kitchen, and dining areas with large windows overlooking the lake

Smart TVs (main level & rec room) with Wi-Fi access for streaming your favorite shows

Upstairs Master Suite:

Queen bed, full bath, and a private covered balcony—perfect for quiet mornings with coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Lower Level:

Two newly added bedrooms equipped with bunk beds.

Spacious recreation room with pool table, queen sleeper sofa, Smart TV, and a full bathroom

☀️ Outdoor Living

Step through one of the three sliding glass doors and onto the expansive lakeview deck—your outdoor living and dining space. Grill dinner, dine al fresco, or relax in the sun or shade. A gas firepit makes for cozy evenings under the stars.

A walk down the 88 steps leads to your private deep-water dock in a No-Wake cove—safe for swimming, floating, kayaking, or paddleboarding. The dock features electricity and a 10x10 sunning area, great for lounging between swims.

You’ll have access to the community boat ramp at Pine Harbour (free of charge) for launching your boat or jet skis, and local marinas also offer rentals nearby.

2 paddleboards

Tubes, noodles, and float lounges

There’s also a wood-burning firepit in the front yard—perfect for roasting s’mores or enjoying an evening by the fire.

Pets allowed—Max of 2 dogs only- $250 pet fee required. (Pet fee is the same if only bringing 1 dog)

Exterior security cameras are for guest safety—tampering forfeits the deposit

No cooking over the deck firepit

Indoor wood stove not for guest use

Please supervise all fires and extinguish completely before leaving

No life vests provided—please bring your own

No events or parties allowed

Great weekend getaway

We booked a last minute long weekend for Labor Day and had a great time. Home had all we needed to enjoy the water in the quiet cove. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped for the dishes/pots/pans we needed. The home was clean and tidy. Enjoyed our stay and it was close to food lion and a few restaurants.

Well furnished and equipped house right on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat so we could more easily travel back and forth to another house that was rented by extended family. We'd rent it again.

Lovely waterfront home on public side of Lake Anna

The house was just as described and was very clean. The huge deck was awesome with great views of the water through the trees. The streaming service for the TV was spotty.

Great house with plenty of space. Very clean. Amazing back deck with views of Lake Anna. Fire pit was great on cold nights. Close to hiking, brewery, cidery, and grocery store. Wish we stayed longer but will definitely return.

Great Family Getaway

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the comfort of the house. Right on the water but lots of steps, which was clearly stated in the listing. It was nice to have kayaks and paddleboard furnished. Our family had a great time on the water. We all enjoyed the fire pit in the front yard. Owners even furnished supplies to make S'mores.

The house is in a quiet, private location with a great layout inside. The dock is set in a cove so also very private. The house had everything we needed. Plenty to do both inside (pool and ping pong tables) and outside (kayaks, paddle boards, floats, fishing). Plenty of space on the deck for eating and lounging. We would definitely stay again.

Private and picturesque

This home was the perfect retreat for our family of 6 adults. We spent the majority of our time simply hanging out on the dock enjoying the quiet cove. Plenty of floats, paddle boards, lounge chairs and the umbrella were welcome amenities. Shaded deck was perfect for morning coffee. We're all looking forward to returning for a longer stay next time.

Great location and vacation home

“Peaceful perch” is a great actual description for the home itself. Great peaceful location with wonderful lake access. Lots of included amenities as advertised. The only thing that could have been better is Internet being slow and unreliable which you needed to cast to the tv to watch anything. I wasn’t there to watch tv so it wasn’t a big deal at all. We enjoyed the wonderful dock, pool/ping pong table, the awesome deck space great family room and dining room/kitchen to hang out in. I give it a 10/10 regardless of the internet issue. They graciously allowed our dogs to stay on property for a few which was also lovely.

We really enjoyed the property. We took advantage of the kayaks which was super fun. Nice extra touches in home like games and some extra paper products. Only negative was the water pressure in the shower which was awful, not sure if anything can be done about that. But would stay again. Thank you

We had a wonderful time with our 4 adult children! The house had everything we needed, including a Keurig & regular coffee pot, Saran Wrap, foil, assorted coffee & tea & an assortment of spices. We loved that the dock was in deep water & we could dive/jump off the dock. We appreciated being able to use the kayak & paddle boards. We loved that the dock was in a no wake zone too. We also loved that the neighborhood had its own boat dock that was free to use!

Weekend retreat

We really enjoyed the property, location was great, nice dock with kayaks and paddle boards. The house also has a great fire pit and nice deck. Dock side realty has 2 locations, who knew. I went to the wrong one and was fortunate someone was still there after hours to inform me where to go. Also, rules and regs would be better consolidated in one place and on one page. Would have been even better if the many cobwebs were removed and deck blown/swept prior to our arrival. Overall a nice location and property. Would definitely recommend.
