This place was the perfect location for visiting a friend in the DC area. It was clean, had all the amenities listed plus other supplies we didn’t think to bring for the weekend. Our host Kelly and her husband were kind and checked on us to make sure we had all we needed. I would definitely book here.

The host was lovely and the property was great. It is old and not everything worked, but everything that we needed for our stay worked. The location was convenient and everything felt safe. I would definitely stay again!

Loved the apartment! Just about every amenity you could think of. We enjoyed the outdoor space and lots of reading during our "home" day and a short Lyft into town when we wanted to sightsee.

Having a trampoline for the kids was great.Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Desert Island Ice cream shop is a must if you stay here. Always a line , but worth the wait... Host was very cordial and very helpful.

This was a near perfect experience for us. Initially we had a little trouble figuring out the parking, but that was more because we had not notified and given Kelly our vehicle info ahead of time. Once we did do that she got us registered for a street parking permit and it was quite easy to find a spot (maybe brush up on your parallel parking skills if you aren't a seasoned parker though). The unit itself was very inviting and clean. We did not use the front bedroom at all, but the main bedroom was quiet and very comfortable. We both slept notably well. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well appointed, the backyard area was lovely and the living area was great for an evening in. Inside the unit Kelly had provided a clear and thorough guide to the unit itself, the neighborhood, and the surrounding areas and attractions which was very helpful. The real star of the show is the neighborhood though. Mount Pleasant is a vibrant and authentic place to spend your trip. Once parked, we never moved our vehicle again till we left, though we did Uber to a couple of shows and events farther away than walking distance. Mostly though; we enjoyed the ease of walking for whatever we needed. Restaurants, grocery stores, small shops, a pharmacy, bars, and almost anything you could want are all within an easy walk. The neighborhood was inviting, and the freedom of being able to walk anywhere was refreshing. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Honestly, book your stay here.

Host took excellent care of us! Kids LOVED the trampoline. Parking on the street was no problem, even with our minivan. You need to have host arrange for a digital parking pass prior to arrival. We used the alley to load and unload luggage and bikes. We loved biking to the Mall area on Rock Creek trail. Also loved that we could walk to the zoo and save parking fee.

The host went out of her way to provide a perfect, comfortable and festive location for us to prepare and share our family Thanksgiving dinner. Beautifully furnished apartment in a great historic area. Each of the two bedrooms had a comfortable Queen bed and private bathroom. A nice place to come home to after touring. Excellent restaurants, wine shop, markets. Easy subway access and a great place to walk. We were very happy and at home here. Highly recommend.

Mount Pleasant Condo

We 3 found this condo a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay for 4 nights in April. The neighborhood is terrific and offers a lot of Latin restaurants and nearby grocery stores. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub. The metro and national zoo are each a short walk away. Great place!

Great Stay

Excellent stay at this vrbo. It was a fantastic location and great space. There are a number of steps down to enter the property, if stairs are a problem for you. The space was very clean and the host was responsive.

This is a wonderful place to Stay in DC! It is beautiful clean and big! Check in was súper Easy and fast! The bed was comfy and we even had a shared patio! I wish we stayed longer but definitively Will come back again!

So convenient, and so cozy!

This property is in an amazing location in the Columbia Heights/Mount Pleasant area. Easy access to the metro, great restaurants, nearby, and a cozy spot to come home to after a long day of being a tourist in Washington DC.
