Great stay close to the metro
The property was clean and as advertised. The hosts were quick to reply to messages prior to the trip. We really appreciated having a washer/dryer in the unit.
This is a basement apartment that doesn’t feel like a basement- it is light with pleasant colors. The water pressure in the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. Our kids slept on the air mattress and futon, and both were comfortable. They appreciated not having to share a bed. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows.
The hosts graciously offered to hold our luggage for us until the unit was cleaned, which was much appreciated because we had an early flight in.
The kitchen was nice, and had what we needed to make dinner a couple of times.
The unit is close to the green metro line (about a 7 minute walk). We found it easy to navigate to other lines if needed. There are two grocery stores by the metro station, which were convenient to get snacks and breakfast food.
We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in DC, and recommend this listing. For reference, we are a family of 4 with kids who are 10 and 12 years old. We had plenty of space and enjoyed not being on top of each other like you are in a hotel room.
