Peaceful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom lake house located on quiet private drive just south of Traverse City. Features completely renovated interior. New appliances, real hardwood floors, 60" 4K TV, leather furniture, memory foam beds, a hide-a-bed, a large deck overlooking the water and HD cable with high speed Internet with WiFi. There is 100 feet of private Lake frontage with a dock. Great for fishing and boating. Complimentary kayaks, mountain bikes and fire wood are also included. 16ft pontoon boat available for rent.

Would love to take advantage of kayaks etc in the summer months but as you can see from the picture it was leaf peeping at its finest. So glad to be able to come up for a two day weekend trip to recharge before going back to the grind down to city living.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. Beds were comfortable and the provided bed side chargers were a nice surprise. The area was peaceful and a short drive into TC. Tom, the host, stayed in contact when Mother Nature dropped several inches of snow to see if we needed the driveway cleared. We took care of it with the provided snowblower, but he offered to have someone come take care of it. Check in and out was easy and the little Christmas tree set up let us continue to enjoy the holidays on our stay. We were able to bring our dog with us and she acclimated well to the house. We would definitely be interested in staying again!

Good Little Home near Traverse City!

We came in for a short weekend stay with plans to visit Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was tucked away on a quiet lake in a nice area to walk the dog. The location wasnt too far from anything we wanted to do and it was a good price as well. Recommended!

I grew up in Traverse City and frequently visited Spider Lake as a kid. When I was able to find a property on the lake that needed some TLC for the right price I purchased this place and spent six months transforming a summer cabin into a year round home. I continue to make improvements as time and money allow. I am an electrician, my wife Casey works in the pharmacy at the hospital. We live about 15 minutes away.

Why they chose this property

This property is peaceful and beautiful. It's on a private drive off a dead-end road. This part of the lake is low-wake no waves, jet ski's or motor boats going by above an idle. The neighbors Art and Bonnie are great. It's a private escape 15 minutes out of town.

What makes this property unique

The view alone of the lake whether you ever intend touch the water is worth it. Even when it's raining you can find yourself mesmerized watching the rain hit the water. If your feeling more adventurous hop in the complimentary kayaks to explore the lake. It has many coves, a sand bar and a couple islands.
