Great Vacation

We have been staying here almost every summer for about 12 years now. The location on the beach and the uniqueness of the property is unbeatable! Also the property owner is top notch!

Great time

This is our second stay at the beach house. It is a perfect location, so beautiful and relaxing on the big back deck. Can’t wait to go back again.

Another great stay at the Texas Beach House

This is our favorite place to stay in SPI. Location is fantastic, the house is very clean with plenty of room for the family. The large deck and gazebo makes our time outside very relaxing. Being right on beach makes it extremely convenient. The views are great. This house is perfect! Looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect beach house

If you want to stay ON THE BEACH ; this is the house for you. It is on the beach just a few steps away. Beds so comfortable ; living area very spacious. Kitchen has everything you need to make yourself feel like you are at home. Comfy beds. Highly recommend. Will return !

We keep coming back year after year…

We’ve been staying at this property for 10 years. The house is clean, the deck is awesome and the proximity to the beach is the best. Watching sunrises over the ocean on the massive deck is my favorite. The owner is responsive as needed and always has a recommendation for anything we might be looking for.

End of summer getaway

A group of six of us adults rented the second floor. The location is close to lots of restaurants and shopping and the beachfront access is awesome. We really enjoyed watching the sunrises from the beachfront gazebo, and relaxing on the patio in the evenings.

Texas Beach House 2nd floor-always a magical time!

TX Beach House is the best location on SPI for your family. The 2nd floor deck allows easy access to the beach, a place to hang out for the people that love the sun but not the sand and awesome views of the Gulf. The kitchen has all the cooking essentials you need (plates, cups, mugs, steak knives, some serve ware, pots,pans, baking pans, bbq tools and skewers for the gas grill, starter cleaning supplies). We cook half our meals in house and other than the food, I make sure to pick-up/pack spices, oil, foil, ziplocs and coffee, tp/paper towels and laundry detergent(he compatible). We eat in the dining room and the upper portion of the deck is a nice place to gather for a meal when the weather allows. Bathing towels are supplied and you should bring your own beach towels. Having laundry in house is such a convenience. I feel like I am letting out a secret when reviewing this place. We have come back almost every year since 2009. Our initial 2009 stay was in the basement due to availability and the access to the beach is the same, different direct access deck/no gazebo. You won't regret renting this place for your stay at SPI. Make sure to visit and support the Turtle Rescue during your visit!

Amazing

It was very spacious and open. A little dated but comfortable. Washer/dryer didn't work for the price we paid, but the main thing was being with family. Want to thank the landlord for being understanding. I would recommend this place so roomy and the beach was wonderful!

We love this property!

This beach house is great! The location in the Island is convenient to all amenities and the house is situated perfectly on a beautiful part of the beach!!! The property has everything we could ever need. It's always clean and well maintained. Wayne is super accommodating and always works with our entire family to make our annual vacation awesome! We will always stay here and continue to recommend it to any South Padre visitors!

Great house on the beach!

This is our 5th year coming to the beach house. We love how it's right on the beach. It's a comfortable house. Its slightly dated in style but the price is great and the location is superb. The owner is very nice and always available if something is needed. I would recommend this place again and again

Perfect!!! Clean. Well stocked. Right on the beach. And Wayne is super easy to rent from.

This was our fourth stay at Texas Beach House in the last ten years. We will never stay anywhere else! The location is perfect. The house is always immaculate when we arrive. The kitchen is fully equipped. Everything is simply perfect. They've also recently updated the bedding, replaced the grill, and added a glass door on the back. We love the house and the owner!

Wonderful Experience!! Great place but is certainly doing its best to avoid the rust epidemic!!

We had a great time and enjoyed the property very much! The land lord was great and very accommodating! W appreciated that! Some of the deck furniture and the charcoal grill needs to be replaced. The grill is a potential fire hazard! It's good that Orkin Pest Control is around as there is a bit of a problem with roaches. I think this is true with all beach front properties. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we find it difficult to leave this wonderful place. We look forward to returning! Thank you very much for everything!
