It was very clean, has all the kitchen items you might need, beach chair, cooler and snorkel gear. It has a great view of the ocean and was close to all the activities (example: beaches, road to Hana, etc). There were a few restaurants about 5 minutes away. The rest of the restaurants were about 15 to 20 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was everything that was advertised. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the sunrise and eating breakfast. The place is centrally located between east Maui and west Maui. The host is very quick at responding and will give restaurant suggestions if you ask.

Danny was a great host. Quick to communicate with us when needed. The Place has everything and some! Location was great central location. The grounds were beautiful like the sunrises. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is amazing! Everything you could possibly need is already there. Very neat and clean. It was just like the pictures. Communication with owner was very easy and quick. Danny is the best I have ever dealt with. We will absolutely use this wonderful place next time we go to Maui. Area is quiet and centrally located to pretty much all of the island. I would definitely recommend this one to my best friend or family. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

Oh wow…what a great place to stay for a quiet, clean condo. Can’t say we have ever slept on a more comfortably bed and pillows! Danny was a friendly and attentive host! Our communication with the him was quick and helpful. It truly is a beautiful property, pool and even has an awesome beach at the end of the road, with lots of trees for shade, as well as sun! Centrally located on Maui made it easy for us to get to other parts of the island easily. And had many choices of nice, casual places to eat near by! Thank you again for detailed instructions and a lot of bang for our buck!

Good location for tours. We walked over to the sunset Pride of Maui tour. It was great! Had the best pizza at the open air mall, Point Break Pizza. We saw whales from our deck. Clean and comfortable space

The views from the condo are stunning. It’s located conveniently to get anywhere in Maui quickly and easily. It’s a very clean and well maintained unit and we were very satisfied with our stay. I’d definitely stay here again.

We, Danny and Frederick, live in Indian Wells, California.

Danny lived on Maui in 1991 and had always wanted to return. We both share the same love and respect for Hawaii, its people and their culture. We have a special love for Maui, in particular.

We wanted to find a special place in Maui that was quiet, centrally located, and oceanfront. We looked all over South Maui and fell in love with Ma’alaea. Most condos in South Maui are off of busy thoroughfare streets and you can hear a lot of road noise from the bedrooms, which typically face the street. Ma’alaea is different in that the condominiums are all along a dead end street. Our street, Hauoli St. ends at a lovely beach. The beach leads to the longest walking beach in Hawaii - four miles!

We also like Ma’alaea because, being in the 'valley' portion of Maui, it has a bit more wind than other parts. This keeps the area cooler than many other parts of the island.

The other wonderful thing about Ma’alaea is its location. It is literally minutes away from most anywhere you would want to go in Maui.

When we walked on the property of Ma’alaea Kai the first time in 2012, we immediately noticed the attention to detail in how the grounds and the building are maintained. It's immaculate! Before buying this condo we looked at many, many properties all over Kihei and Ma’alaea. This one really stood out to us in that it's impeccably kept.

We also fell in love with the fact that the building is on a dead end street, so there is little vehicular traffic. Most condos are on busy streets with much road noise. This isn't the case here.

And finally, we loved the fact that our unit has windows on two walls in the bedroom and one of them faces the ocean. It's rare to be able to hear the ocean from your bedroom. Most condos have the bedrooms facing the street, so you hear a lot of road noise if you open the window. In our unit you hear the blissful sound of the ocean!
