My wife and I had an incredible time here. The house has all of the amenities needed to enjoy and relax including an excellent library, and top of the line binoculars to enjoy the horizon. My wife kept calling this a 5 star retreat. The host is an excellent communicator and provided recommendations for activities and services, along with a concierge as needed. The property itself provided the tranquil atmosphere we were looking for and we truly enjoyed our time here. Mac, thank you for having us, we can't wait to be back! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

This place was amazing!! We had the best honeymoon! We had everything we needed. It was so spacious, the pool was perfect, we were able to walk to different restaurants in the neighborhood, and it was very quiet. Edwin and Irma were so wonderful and great chefs!!! Hosts even put us in contact with a masseuse that came by and she was great!!! They also just had the best tips for our stay. We enjoyed our early morning runs along the road. It was the most relaxing time!

Host gave many excellent helpful suggestions and was great with communication. Edwin and Erma were nice and we did enjoy them cooking for us the last night. House was perfect for what we needed. Love the location except for that horrible road. We definitely plan to go back there!

Amazing Stay

We have stayed in many VRBOs through the years and honestly, this rental was probably the best we have ever been to. Mac was amazing to work with and gave us detailed recommendations for dining and things to do. Edwin and Erma were amazing in helping us with whatever we needed. The place is stocked with everything that needed. We plan to go back and will definitely be staying at this amazing rental. Thank you for a wonderful time in Tulum!

We had a wonderful week just enjoying the house, pool and surrounding beach areas. We took advantage of the meals and they were top notch. This location is absolutely devine and the communication was spectacular.

Perfect for Rest and relaxation

Our stay way wonderful as everything was just as advertised. Stayed two weeks and never left the property except for long walks on the beach and one trip to Tulum for supplies.

This was more than a vacation — it was a true escape. The privacy was absolute, giving us the rare gift of complete peace and stillness. Our afternoons were just as perfect — floating in the pool under the warm sun or wandering through nearby Tulum, knowing we had this beautiful sanctuary to return to. The kitchen is a dream for anyone who loves to cook — fully stocked, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. What truly sets this home apart are the incredible amenities — thoughtful, luxurious touches we’ve honestly never experienced at any other stay. (Be sure to spend time looking through Mac’s library). One of the most unforgettable evenings was when Irma and Edward prepared an incredible meal for us. Dining together on the deck, surrounded by the beauty and quiet of the space, felt intimate and special — a memory we’ll always cherish. Mac, thank you for opening your stunning home to us. It’s rare to find a place that feels this magical. We left feeling restored, inspired, and already counting the days until we return.

Twice as Fun in Paradise!

This was our second time staying at Casa Vendaval. It is such a beautiful property and area. There are all the amenities you need for an amazing luxury vacation. Thank you Mac, Edwin and Erma for always making us feel at “home away from home”. We look forward to when we can return to paradise.

Great, private location

Loved the location and the house. Tulum has really blown up over the past 10-15 years and is not as quiet and "off the beaten path" as before. My wife and I specifically picked this house because it appeared to be a little more outside main Tulum and thus more quiet/peaceful. We were really happy with the location...felt more secluded even though we were only about 5 miles from town. Great setup, great views of the ocean. Would definitely stay there again.

Relaxation Residence

I cannot say enough great things about this rental. Communication with Mac the owner from the beginning was easy. Walter and Maritza were so warm and friendly and ready to help us if we needed anything . From the gorgeous accommodations, to the amazing view, to the private pool, and the stunning beachfront it was a perfect getaway. We will be making a return for sure!

This place was amazing! Mac, Maritza and Walter were so kind and helpful! They did not bother us one bit. The property was clean and so relaxing. It was so convenient too! We walked to the other hotels for dinner and on the beach to collect all the pretty seashells! We are definitely returning!
