The stay was very pleasant and generally comfortable. The breakfast was very good, although the coffee was not very good, and the artificial creamer unfortunately made the coffee undrinkable.The biggest issue of our stay, however, was that on the second night someone on our floor (the 2nd) was a very heavy cigarette smoker, even tho smoking is forbidden. It was so heavy that when I had left the room to go out to retrieve something from my car, when I returned the smoke was visible in the hallway. And later, I was awakened by the smell of cigarette smoke after about 2am.The person who was with me has severe asthma, and it caused so much irritation that he had several coughing attacks.I realize that the hotel cannot immediately intervene of someone wants to break the rules and smoke in their rooms, it's nearly impossible to intervene. I just hope some procedure can be developed to be able to detect or prevent it. It's beyond unpleasant or inconvenient, for some people such a violation can be dangerous.
