The stay was amazing! The place was clean and looked just like the listing. Check in was easy and our host was very communicative. Super appreciate everything! We had a great time being away from the world for a couple of days.
Location was true to the listing and photos. Very private wooded home. Spacious and well provisioned. Only suggestion is to add hanging bars and hangers as there was no place to hang clothing. Communication was slow but met the needs.
I was in the area for work and this property turned out to be the perfect fit. It’s about a 45-minute drive to my customer, but I really appreciated being away from the busy streets. The peaceful, secluded location made the extra drive well worth it.In the evenings, I loved relaxing on the deck at dusk, watching deer stroll by almost every night. The only sounds were the wind in the trees and the occasional squirrel or deer passing through—so tranquil! After dark, the internet connection was strong and reliable, which allowed me to get my work done without any issues. Overall, this was a great spot to unwind after a busy day, and I hope to return on my next trip.
This beautiful home is not only pristine and perfect for a couples getaway, it is also completely private. Set back in the woods of Roane County, TN on some of the prettiest land you will ever see. A wonderful and gracious hosthad everything set up perfectly for us, and even included a wonderful glass of red wine after our long trip down from New England. We qill most definitely be coming back!!!!!
Great place to go after a hectic day with family. All the comforts of home and none of noise of staying in a hotel. The host was very quick to respond to every question and very accommodating. Bless his heart I changed my start date at the last minute without difficulty. I also early on extended my stay by one day because of a family outting and he was very accommodating. Then I had to leave abruptly due to problems at home and forgot a power cord and he agreed to mail it to me graciously. What a beautiful place to stay while driving in you can spot wild turkeys and deer. Its tucked in the woods at acdead end street so there is lots of privacy but you are not far away from restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.
The property was very private, but not clean at all! We were surprised to find personal items throughout the cabin. Fridge was full of food, beverages and leftovers. It felt like someone left for the week and was planning to return when we left. There were prescription medications in the bathroom too. No communication on check in or check out procedures. I had to empty the dryer to get clean towels. The cleaning fee should be refunded since I had to clean the kitchen and bathroom before unpacking! I could not in good conscience recommend this property.
