New Modern Comforts close to Glacier National Park and Downtown Columbia Falls



The Space:

Walking distance to downtown, 15 minutes to the Glacier International Airport, Whitefish and the West Entrance of Glacier National Park. If wishing to travel to the North entrance of the park, this property is located just seconds from the North Fork Road for easy access. Red Maple Tree Cottage is a brand new modern two-level home with all the simple touches of luxury living. Ample living space for a family of six. Relax on the covered porch and shade of the red maple tree while taking in the peekaboo views of Columbia Mountain.



The main entrance greets you with an open living floor plan with a kitchen made for a chef. Enjoy the family time while preparing your favorite meals, relax in the modern comforts or utilize the desk for all your work needs and trip planning. The main floor offers a full-size laundry room, one full-size private bathroom and two private bedrooms. One bedroom features a queen size bed and the other offers two twin beds.



Take a stroll downstairs to the large family entertainment room with smart tv, board table with games and gas fireplace. Located on the lower level, you will also find one private King size bedroom with one full size bathroom.



Red Maple Tree Cottage has central Air Conditioning for those unusual hot days in Montana and Electric Heat for those cool nights. A gas fireplace located in the family room downstairs is also available for your enjoyment. If cooking outdoors appeals to you, there is also a bbq grill for all your outdoor cooking needs.



Parking available for up to two private vehicles. Other vehicles can use street parking.  Max occupancy is 6 guests. Large gatherings or special events are not allowed.



No smoking or pets allowed. We do ask guest to notify management of any service animals prior to arrival.



The downtown area of Columbia Falls, West Glacier and Whitefish has an active working railroad line.



2027 Reservations: We will open our calendar to all 2027 reservations starting August 1st, 2026. Please check back with us, to reserve your spot with us.

Incredible property and gracious host!! I would definitely stay here again. Within 25 minutes to the east entrance, close to hwy 2 to get to the west side (if you prefer not to do the Going The Sun Road.) 30 minutes from Walmart and Target. 5 min to Smith's groceries. Clean and amazingly stocked; it was like going back home with everything we needed, and more! Thank you!!

A very nice updated house in a quiet neighborhood in Columbia Falls! It was very clean, well appointed and comfortable for our party of 6. It was easy traveling from the airport and worked perfectly for our home base for our time spent at Glacier National Park. Communication with the owner was very prompt and easy and she did a great job with instructions and extensive recommendations for things to do in the surrounding communities. This will be our spot from now on when we return to Glacier!

This newly remodeled home was beautiful and very comfortable. Looks brand new on the inside.Everything was there that we needed.The only thing not mentioned in the listing is how close to the train tracks you are and if you are not used to trains they will wake you during the night at all hours so beware of that.Otherwise it was perfect for our family. 5*

This is one of the extra special places! Great neighborhood, very clean, comfortable heating and cooling as it is zoned, comfy furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great to have use of the garage to store bikes. We thought it was very quiet, yes, even with the train tracks nearby. Decorated beautifully. Great restaurants nearby and easy access to Glacier. Wish we would have stayed longer.

Red Maple Tree cottage was amazing, perfect for the two couples in our group. Extremely clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our time there. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were very plush. The location was perfect for our drive into Glacier National Park. Columbia Falls offers a wide variety of restaurants and attractions. We entered GNP from the east side at St Mary’s Visitor Center and were blown away by the beautiful views of mountains and valleys. We didn’t see much wildlife but may have missed some as we couldn’t take our eyes off the mountains!

Wow, just wow!! This place is better than the pictures and I haven’t ever said that. They have thought of everything and it’s just as nice as home (there’s a Ninja blender). It’s spotless, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen has a complete utensil drawer and they even have bear spray to use. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are headed to Glacier, rent it!

We loved our stay here! The house was impeccable, from cleanliness to the decor to all of the thoughtful touches. We loved the cooler and ice packs, the bear spray, the games, and the equipment for minimizing the railroad noise! The train does run very often close to the property, but the hosts have included sound machines and earplugs to help block it out. The setup was perfect for our group, and the AC was crucial for the hot summer days! Thanks for an awesome place to land after our Glacier adventures!
