Introducing North Star, our beautiful Gatlinburg pool cabin in popular Chalet Village North! The views of the Smokies from our wall of windows (and three decks) w/views for miles will leave you speechless,
We sleep 12 total people per fire code.
Our cabin's amenities include:
* Heated Indoor Pool
* Hot Tub
* Outdoor Gas Fire Table
* Theater Room w/120" screen, surround sound w/reclining chairs
* Basement Game Room w/air hockey & foosball
* Loft Game Room w/pool table, ping-pong top, arcade game, and poker/game table (bring your poker set and games)
* 4 en suite bedrooms: 3 king bedrooms & 1 Bunk Room (2 queen and 2 twin)
* 1/2 Bath in Basement (near pool and theater rooms)
* Private Wi-Fi
* Full washer/dryer in laundry room
*Starter set: 1-2 rolls per bathroom toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, small dish soap, a few dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, trash bags in cans provided (bring more for large groups and longer stays:)

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If used, wash, dry, and put away pool/hot tub towels.
Set the A/C to 78 degrees in warm season & 66 degrees in the cool season before departing the cabin.
Shut and lock the interior and exterior pool doors.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
By required date return completed rental agreement w/copy of photo ID of booking guest and ID of person on credit card used for payments.
All guests must follow all rules and policies in relation to the use of this property. No groups of adults under age 30 may rent this property.
Adult must be first person at pool door upon arrival at cabin. Adult must text assistant for pool door code.

What a gem! The home and views are spectacular! We had a group of 10 and everyone was cozy with lots of entertainment! If we ever come back to Gatlinburg, this is the house we wouldchoose again!

This home truly made our trip. Our whole family really enjoyed themselves at this beautiful cabin. The views are incredible and the cabin is stocked with games and fun. We had so much fun enjoying themselves scenery, the pool, hot tub, arcade games and the movie theater was great. We even had a couple bear sightings.

Great place! The views, game rooms and movie room were exceptional. Unfortunately, we had several electrical issues which took time away from enjoying everything eg we had no basement lights for 2 whole days, which meant no media room or downstairs games.But, we will return when we can!

Glad you enjoyed the cabin under the conditions of the basement situation. Luckily, the other two floors where fine and the pool was usable during the day of the issue. Unfortunately, this happened on the night before Father's Day, so we could not get anyone to come out on Sunday. On Monday, electrician arrived and had it up and running. We discovered it was an issue with the whole room dehumidifier in the pool room causing the issue in the basement. Luckily, it was under warranty, and a new one was installed. Guests were taken care of for the inconvenience. All good now. Glad you wish to return in the future. :)

This home had an awesome view of the Smokey Mountains. There was plenty of room for my husband and me with our two adult children. The home had everything you needed to cook if you didn’t want to eat out every night. My kids enjoyed the two areas with games and the theater room. I think my youngest enjoyed beating his mom in arcade games I played in the 1980’s. The location was great. We felt like we had privacy but were near other people and not secluded. This home is in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So it was a short drive to either town. We did see a mama bear with her two cubs on and off along with a male bear. Can’t wait to come back for another visit.

This cabin was by far our favorite one in the Smokies yet! It was immaculately clean, had awesome amenities, a breathtaking view of the mountains and the host was incredibly kind, accommodating, and communicative from day one. We had 6 young kids with us and no one ever ran out of things to do! We will absolutely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did our children! The kitchen is very well stocked, beds were very comfortable, lots of blankets around the house for use, the pool was clean and warm, and the house smelled great upon arrival!

The house was fantastic and exactly as described! We were two families, 7 people total, and had so much room to spread out. Having 4.5 bathrooms made getting read a breeze. My teen boys took full advantage of the 2 game rooms and we all loved watching movies in the theater room. Was too hot while we were there to utilize the hot tub. The views are stunning, but take the bear warnings very seriously! We were there one hour, sitting out on the deck enjoying the view, when a bear rounded the corner and walked right onto the deck! The mountain road up to the house is very steep, windy and narrow but the house is located very close to all local attractions. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We would definitely stay here again. We have stayed in the area at multiple other locations, and this one had all you need and more, paired with an incredible view. Property owners were also great and had excellent communication. Thanks for a great family vacation!

What a beautiful house in the Smoky Mountains! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to North Star. It had great amenities and all the fun things you could want. We had lots of fun in the pool and hot tub, and we spent a lot of time on the decks. We couldn’t get the fire pit working on the first couple of days, but the owners were very responsive with helping us troubleshoot to get it working. We would certainly stay at this property again if we visit the area in the future. Our only complaints include needing to purchase several “essentials” such as hand soap, trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. and the kitchen missing some utensils/bowls needed for cooking. However, these were not deal breakers and did not affect our stay much.

Glad you had a lot of fun at the cabin! :) As for the fire pit table, it was discovered during your stay that the little stones in the pit can block the line. So, we now try to remind guests to check to make sure that is not the case (if fire won't come on). We note in our welcome letter and agreement that we provide a starter set of the items noted, but we simply can't keep up with/know how much each separate party is going to use during their stay. If the items were not provided at all, we apologize for the cleaners' oversight. Not sure what utensils/bowls were needed for cooking (you are the first to mention this). I am going to reach out to this guest directly to try to gather more information on all the supplies and kitchen items. IF you had reached about any of the above, we, of course, would have been happy to make sure you have what you need. We strive to provide a great set-up for all of our guests.

This was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was modern and clean with incredible mountain views. When we were at the cabin, we had plenty of fun things to do.

There was plenty to do here. We barely left the cabin. There were no outdoor grilling equipment mixing bowls or or leftover containers. Overall we had a great time the games pool and theatre room. Thanks for a great time!

Glad you all found lots to do at the cabin during your winter stay. There were grilling tools, mixing bowls, and leftover containers at this cabin when were there a few weeks prior to your arrival. The containers "walk off" often (going to buys glass ones this time around), so not surprised about that, but the grilling equipment and mixing bowls was a surprise to me. They have been replaced. If we had known any of this during our messaging with you about your other questions, we could have ordered some through Instacart during your stay.
