Nestled in Bonnie with a back yard of mature trees, you'll find this rustic "cabin like" mobile home offers 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a twin bed. The newly renovated bathroom features a refreshing shower, and there's even a comfy living room with a NEW hide-a-bed sofa for extra sleeping space. With the amenities, including all new appliances, you'll feel like you're camping in a cabin with modern conveniences. You're sure to feel right at home in this space we've lovingly named "Dad's Place". We offer WiFi for all your streaming needs including our ROKU ready T.V.'s in each bedroom and living room!! After a day of hunting, fishing, kayaking or hiking and exploring what Rend Lake and Southern Illinois have to offer, you can prepare your meals in a well-appointed kitchen or eat at the Famous BONNIE CAFE', within walking distance. While we've renovated the inside, we are a work in progress on our outside, yet we believe you, our guests, will feel right at home. We think our place will help you experience a nostalgic "returning home" feeling like pulling out your favorite winter sweater year after year!!

Cool and comfortable

Our stay was was excellent! The kitchen was well-equipped for everything we needed, the bathroom was sparkling clean with generous provision of shower products, and the home was cool and comfortable! It was close to the lake and a great place to come back to after a day in the sun. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back the next time we are out this way.

A++ on cleanliness!! Very calm area.

Decorations were exceptionally good and the place was SUPER clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was easy to find. The Bonnie cafe was close and super good, within walking distance. Would stay again !!!

Cozy Couple Getaway!

My husband and I decided to take a weekend getaway and we are so glad we did! “Dad’s Place” really felt like the perfect home away from home. We came into a very clean and warm place — which was great in this snowy weather. The hosts were very responsive and made sure our needs were met! We enjoyed playing the board games provided and exploring what southern Illinois had to offer. We especially enjoyed the amazing quality of the linens and furniture! We felt so comfortable there, and hosts really outdid themselves on providing often forgotten amenities (i.e. feminine products, pass time games, cooking wear, hair and body soap, laundry care, etc).

We hope you find the attention to detail enjoyable. We've thought of the little extras that were meaningful to us, as we traveled, and incorporated them into our offering here in Bonnie at "Dad's Place". Since this is first rental, if you have any pointers, please let us know in constructive criticism :) We hope to achieve the best possible rating each and every time and will continue to work hard to improve our little place.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Bonnie is a quaint town, and the mobile home is located at the end (corner lot) of a very quiet street. The neighborhood is quiet enough that you will likely not see the neighbors, at all. There's a train track close by, but you shouldn't be able to hear anything when inside, we never have. The wooded back yard and covered deck will make grilling your fresh catch from Rend Lake a breeze. If you don't like to cook on your vacay...NO PROBLEM!! The Bonnie Cafe, within walking distance is incredible!! Also, the close proximity to I-57 and I-37, 3 miles from Rend Lake, makes this "cabin-like" property a great choice for everyone.

Our properties back yard is like being at a campground!! There's a fire pit, covered deck and tall mature trees! This setting just begs to be enjoyed while drinking a nice cup of coffee/tea or hot chocolate, made right in the convenience of the kitchen using the Keurig and K-Cups provided to get you started. Also, we provide to go cups for your convenience!!
