Quiet relaxed location just steps away from Main Ave Shopping

Escape to this lovely house in picturesque Clear Lake.

The two story Schoolhouse was built in 1870 and has been completely remodeled into an updated modern, comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Handicap friendly parking is available on the west side. The first floor is handicap friendly with a zero entry bathroom and shower. A queen sized bed can be setup on the main floor if stairs are not an option for guests.

The rest of the beds are found on the second floor. The main bedroom includes a queen sized Deluxe Sleep Number Bed. This bedroom has it's own bathroom complete with a tub/shower combination, perfect for those toddlers needing a bath after visiting the beach.

The bedrooms all have blackout shades to allow guests to sleep in when the sun gets up too early.

The second area is an open loft and it has a queen bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 trundle queen bed. There is a bathroom for this area with a shower and laundry for our guests.

The kitchen has all new appliances including a 36" commercial range, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. stainless steel sink and custom cabinets. Custom made Kitchen table can easily seat 10 guests.

An automatic coffee maker that can make a pot of coffee or use the Pods and make one cup.

A 65" LG OLED smart TV allows you to stream using the high speed Wi Fi for your viewing pleasure.

An electronic keyboard is available for the musically inclined.

A small desk and printer are available for those needing to work as well as play.

Three bathrooms total, allows multiple guests to have their own. One bathroom is on the main floor and two on the second floor complete with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers in each bathroom. Each bathroom also has a hair dryer.

There is a patio area complete with patio lights, a gas grill and a fire pit.

This cozy retreat offers a soothing atmosphere for guests.

The Schoolhouse is in an excellent location with lots of parking. Near downtown it was very easy to walk to shops and the water front. The space was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was an excellent vacation rental. Everything was exceptionally clean, organized, and in like-new condition. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The property matched the description perfectly and made for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great place to stay

The Schoolhouse is a beautifully restored building with an interesting history. It’s spacious and was very comfortable for our party of 4 adults. It could easily accommodate a larger group. Highly recommended!

Wow! I have stayed in many VRBO houses. Schoolhouse and your host Myron excel at a brand new lovingly restored 1872 schoolhouse including the welcoming school bell. Plans and photographs of the extensive renovation are in the stunning cook’s kitchen. Three bathrooms and two washer/dryer combos welcome a large crew enjoying the nearby lake. Thank you Myron for this truly special stay complete with thoughtful night lights.

Great location and really nice!

This was a great location for us and we would try to stay here again. The place is super clean, nice beds, great bathrooms. Super simple check in and no issues with check out. We enjoyed our time there. Do note that a huge part of the upstairs is almost like a big landing with lots of beds, so without a door to the lower level its easy to hear most everything downstairs. The main bedroom, however, would work for anyone needing absolute quiet. This wasn't a negative for our group. Would absolutely recommend and return in the future.
