Beautiful and secluded. We saw a lot of deer in the yard. Lovely decor. I could tell there was a lot of thought and attention to detail put into it.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was beautifully decorated, well equipped, and impeccably clean. It was a perfect location for our few days at Chautauqua Institute. Jim & Nancy R.

We had a lovely stay at Linda and John's place. Everything was clean and creatively decorated. Kitchen was very well stocked and Linda even offered to bring more kitchen ware if we needed it. She lives nearby and was a great communicator. I left some literature behind by mistake and she has agreed to mail it to me! Whole house AC is great for summer and there was firewood and kindling provided for firepit. Two complete bathrooms was a plus for six adults. Location is close to Chautauqua Institute and everything on west side of lake - including short and charming ferry to Bemus Point on east side. All in all a great place for a vacation visit!

The house is perfect, and lives up to the high expectations we had from the photos. Everything was very clean and the decorations truly gave a sense of being in a well maintained Chautauqua home. The house is very close to Chautauqua Institution, which made it very easy to get back and forth. It is located on a large property in the forest with a big lawn that affords a lot of space and privacy. The owners are delightful. We plan to stay here again next year.
