About Sandy Holt

I am proud to say that I am a native Nashvillian. I have spent my life living in Tennessee and a University of Tennessee alumni.

I love the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and especially boating, are my favorite past time activities, and I am a huge Nashville Predator's fan.

Whether you live in Tennessee or just come to visit, I highly recommend you experience Old Hickory Lake, a treasure found right outside my back door.

Sandy Holt purchased this house in 1996

Why Sandy Holt chose Middle

I purchased this property initially as a personal vacation home and have since purchased another home four doors down the street for my permanent residence. The property is very private and yet I can be in downtown Nashville in 20 - 25 minutes.

What makes this house unique

The cottage was a perfect spot for me and my two sons to get away, fish, enjoy the boat and spend time together. We certainly have shared some treasured moments and built fond memories while staying in our lake home. I am excited to share this special place with others to create your own wonderful memories.

Small, quaint, clean property. A bit overpriced in my opinion (use of pontoon would make it 5⭐️s)

Good location. 20 minutes to anything and everything in Nashville. The all day parties and loud music at the little island were a little distracting when trying to enjoy the lakefront, but not the owners fault. Overall, a good stay.

We had an enjoyable stay here!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much, it's small, but really all we needed since were outside most of the time. House was clean. Loved the porch for morning coffee and meals. Loved the flowers pots. Makes it feel homey! Loved sitting out by the water watching birds, ducks, herons, turtles, boats, barges, and visiting! The canoe was fun, I just gotta get out on the water!!

Couple things that need attention...the plastic lawn chairs are all broke except 1, the life jackets were dirty and gross. The area between the 2 docks needs a good clean up,some trash floating around in there.

Sandy, the owner, was great to work with.

Great house & location!

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for our little weekend getaway. Four of us stayed here with our two small dogs and we were very comfortable. The porch, backyard, and lake are amazing! We enjoyed spending our nights relaxing outside and enjoying the peacefulness. The home is about a 30-35 minutes to downtown Nashville, which was great for us. The owner was very nice and great to work with.

What a beautiful sanctuary... very peacefully. The birds are amazing. Watching the ducks waddle around each morning was super. The house is perfect in every way. Thank-you, Suzanne Mathis

Peaceful lake getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is the prefect size for a couple or small family looking for a peaceful getaway. My husband and I used this time to enjoy one last vacation before the birth of our last child coming up in June,(babymoon). It was the best of both worlds, lakefront home located about 20/30mins from Music City! We both enjoyed being able to come back to a quiet area after sight seeing in Nashville. We did a day trip to local waterfalls, this did require a bit of travel- about 2hours but completely worth it! Sandy was amazing, allowing us to check in early and also visiting to make sure everything was okay with the cottage. If my husband and I ever decide to visit Nashville again, we would stay at the cottage again in a heartbeat! The view is amazing, quiet neighborhood, and wonderful owner to deal with.

Spectacular Sunsets & Relaxing Times

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this Cottage over the Christmas Holidays due to its close proximity to family. Could not be more pleased with the location, the tranquility, the amenities, the spectacular views and privacy. Sandy was very accommodating -- he even thoughtfully provided a small lighted Christmas tree. We were blessed with unseasonable warm weather and were able to enjoy the beautiful back porch. Already planning a return trip in the summer to enjoy the Lake! Thanks so much.
