Why Little Gasparilla Island?

Accessible only by boat or water taxi, this serene island is free from cars, roads, and commercial distractions. It’s the ultimate destination to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature, where time slows down and unforgettable memories are made. Parking is accessed at Elderds Marina on mainland. It’s a 10 minute boat ride to the island via Water Taxi. We are the second home to the right from of the dock. Upon arrival, there is a caddy at the house to tote your belongings from the dock to the home.

Incredible experience. Perfect place to get away, detach and unplug. The island and the home have an idyllic vibe. The home was beachy, clean, comfortable and in perfect condition. Well stocked with everything we could need and want. Uncluttered with whitewashed wood and a great mix of beach themed art and decor. Jamie was very helpful with us on our inaugural trip to the island. Looking forward to coming back.

Jamie is amazing as is her place. Fabulous time on LGI! The place was in great shape with outstanding amenities. That's by far the best VRBO stay I have experienced. Great communication from Jamie, the home is well stocked and well kept. I don't worry about giving it such a high rating as I don't want to compete with y'all to stay there next year.

My family of 5 and I (spouse, three kids - 6, 6, 8) stayed here during our spring break and it was absolutely perfect for us. The home is ideally located between the docks and the beach, so we never felt compelled to rent a golf cart - we could walk wherever we needed to go! The house was immaculately clean (which was so very much appreciated); the kitchen was very well stocked with all the items we needed; and the beach items were so nice to have for our multiple daily trips to and from the beach. Jamie was super responsive and insanely helpful for all questions leading up to and during our trip. We would definitely consider renting here again!!

Words fail me for the bliss this home is. There’s everything you could possibly need. Eveything is cozy and warm and perfect. If we need to get granular…the furnishings are perfect, linens are high quality, dishes great, towels are plentiful….honestly it’s the best 3 weeks we have experienced anywhere (and we owned a rental in Turks and Caicos and this put our place to shame with everything it had. We still had things missing even thought we thought we had it all). We will be back for an entire month next year!

Located on beautiful Little Gasparilla Island near Boca Grande, this hidden gem is only accessible by boat or water taxi, making it the perfect place to unplug, relax, and truly escape everyday life.

What makes our home unique is the location and experience. You are just a short walk, about 100 yards, from a quiet, uncrowded beach where shelling, shark tooth hunting, sunset walks, and peaceful mornings are part of your daily routine. We are also only steps from the bay and dock access, making it a dream location for boaters, fishermen, and anyone who loves life on the water.

Unlike crowded tourist destinations, Little Gasparilla Island has no traffic lights, no high rises, and no busy streets. Here, golf carts, sandy paths, and ocean breezes replace stress and schedules.
