The rental unit we stayed in is in need of a renovation! It's terrible. I'm surprised that no one has slipped and fallen in the seriously worn out bathtub. The non slip grid in the tub is completely worn off. I came close to falling more than a few times. The garbage disposal doesn't work and on the day we arrived there was rotten food, including rotting egg shells in the disposal that I had to use a glove to remove because it stunk so bad. We have had gnats and ants since day one. The refrigerator looked clean, but it smelled. Had a smell like something had gone bad/rotted in it and the smell was lingering. The window covering on the bedroom is insufficient for blocking out the light that shines through from the corridor. All air vents are disgustingly dirty. We have been sneezing since we got here. This is one of the hottest states and there are no ceiling fans in this unit. Unacceptable for the kind of heat you experience in Florida. The swimming pool needs a vacuum. this unit has been neglected and in need of several renovations. If we hadn't been there for a family wedding, we would have left the property early. There's so much more I could write, but they only give you so much space.

Very nice resort!

My spouse and I stayed for 9 day's. Treasure Island was beautiful. Great weather, beautiful scenery. Comfortable bedding with all the convenance of home. Close walking distance to the beach.

Need window coverings

The window coverings do not cover the windows. Especially the bedroom window that is facing the outside hallway light (yes, a window to a hallway). The window covering allowed lots of light in the bedroom. It was like sleeping with a 2 foot by 4 foot night light. We tried to rig a towel to filter some of the light. It worked a bit. But over all, the lack of window covers was not OK at all.

BEST VACATION

The condo was very comfortable. It was perfect for me and my husband having our master bathroom and my teenage son who had his own separate bathroom and nice sofa in the living room that could work even for 2 kids . There are nearby supermarket , lots of restaurants and the beach. Everything is 5-10 minutes walking distance. We rarely used our car when we only needed to go to some specific places., like Russian restaurant in Tampa and related stores. The balcony of our condo had no view, maybe, it was on lower level and blocked by trees. It was not a problem for us.,We were at the beach 2-3 times a day anyway and didn’t need it. The beach was huge and beautiful. Thank you so much for the best vacation that we had this year.,

It too is very clean. In all a nice place to stay.

Beautiful pool, deck, and view of water! So relaxing. It was just my daughter and I and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves that week. Easy to get to. The unit for us was just as shown. Perfect for the 2 of us. Yes, as other reviews have said it can definitely use some upgrades, but we don’t mind as long as it is clean and has the basics we need. There was a chair and umbrella in closet that we used everyday at the beach! For a 1 bedroom the balcony was a perfect size. Partial view of water (as expected). We loved being able to walk to EVERYTHING: Beach, restaurants, tiki bars, ice cream, stores, Publix, etc. Love the walkway that is on Treasure Island beach, to walk, bike, and enjoy the beach/Gulf view without being in the sand. We are excited to come back to Amadeus with family and get a larger room with full water view! Definitely one of my top locations and rental stay!

Went to coffee shop close by. Pool was clean and very warm. Pool noodles there for guests use. Fishing out the back door. Laundry in the suite, nice bonus. Only thing we didn’t have a very big balcony but it was a one bedroom. The bonus for a one bedroom is we had an ensuite as well as a main bath. Only thing to complain about the couches and chairs in living room were not as clean as I would like so we put a blanket over them while we were there so I felt better. They could do with a good cleaning. Small thing, really. Lots of dishes, pots and frying pans. Linens were clean and enough towels. We didn’t bring our beach towels so we got some at Walgreens for . Would love to stay there next year. Everyone we met on the property were very friendly and helpful. Florida needs to up their standards on recycling though, very disappointed every where we went. No designated recycling containers. Us Canadians are conditioned to recycle.

Great location

The location was perfect. Easy to get off the island or to travel along the gulf coast. But most important was the short walk to the beach, so no beach parking worries. Also a nice heated pool to swim in and socialize with the others in this location.

A much needed get away!

The appliances are older,2 of 4 burners on the stove worked, (did not try the over) the microwave turn table does not work, the blinds are in desperate need of replacing, pots and pans very limited; overall, it's not a bad property. The pool is nice. The first night we stayed we had very loud partying neighbor. That situation was immediately handled. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, shopping nearby, and the main strip of Treasure Island is only a short block away. I would rent again even knowing the property does need some updating.

Zuerst volle Empfehlung! Verbesserungen: Schlafzimmerverdunkelung reicht die Jalousie nicht aus, ein paar Esslöffel wären nett, tiefe Teller, ein Wäscheständer und die Kommode sowie die Nachttische im Schlafzimmer müffeln erheblich. Die Lage zum Strand, Restaurant und Publix sind Top. Wir würden wieder Whg. 2 mit eingeschränkten Wasserblick buchen. Kommunikation mit RRental sehr gut!

No Frills but Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros - The property is in a great location, there is plenty to do in walking distance. Publix is just down the street, it was very convenient. It was very quiet with pleasant tenants during our stay. Plenty of room for myself and my children.Cons - Linens in the room are extremely outdated to the point of feeling scratchy and there is a pit in the mattress. There were only 3 pillows. All blinds were broken and there are no curtains on the windows; it was way too bright in the bedroom for me. Bath fixtures were moldy and the walls were dirty. The kitchen sink was backed up when we checked in. There was a garbage disposal under the sink but no working switch. Several light bulbs were out. No ice maker. All walls are white with only a few random pics throughout. Upon trying to check in Resort Rentals answering service advised me, twice, to leave the property and drive to their location for a key. The room had no key. I was alarmed to find out during this process the security code is not changed between guests. There is no safe in the room and no deadbolt on the door, it was a bit unnerving. R.R. came out and serviced the freezer while we were out which I appreciate very much. I would stay at this property again but not in this unit.

Great Location

Nice unit. Could use some updating and there is a slight old building smell. The resort needs to trim the Oleander bushes off the patio as they block the view of the water. Great location.

Great location and property

Very clean property with all the amenities you need for extended stays. Loved watching the dolphins swim by in the inter coastal waterway from the pool, and having the beach, restaurants, and grocery store just a short walk away. I would definitely come back here.

Great Location

The location was good. Close to Publix and within walking distance to several bars/beaches. The only problem I had was keeping it clean. It's older and a tad outdated. I could justify paying that price again it you did a remodel on the unit I stayed in.
