House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 12
Though, along the Oregon Coast, the vast Pacific often steals the show, there are beautiful, out of the way places - lakes and dunes - with their own distinctive beauty. Lake Woahink is just such a place, and nestled on an idyllic patch of its shoreline is this gorgeous, five-bedroom Florence vacation rental home with a separate cottage, room for 10 (max., 12), your doggy (though a nightly fee per dog and a minimum fee per stay will apply), and your even your boat at the private dock. Just a short, six-minute drive north is shopping and dining in colorful Florence. On the opposite bank is Honeyman State Park, and 30 minutes south are the beautiful white sands of Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
Spend your day at Heceta Head Lighthouse, then come back to this lovely home where you'll relax in this large, open living space with plenty of comfortable furniture. Kick your shoes off, make yourself a cup of tea and put your feet up on the recliner as you listen to music from one of the CDs you brought along. When the cold, coastal wind creeps in over the lake, you'll be warm and snug in front of the wood fireplace. Spread out a board game and have some fun in front of the crackling fire. Pack some DVDs to enjoy as well and pass the time with a movie. When it's nice, experience the foliage and the water up close out on the big deck. You can sit out here in the evening as well, warmed by a fire in the outdoor firepit.
When you're hungry, sit down for a meal at one of the many restaurants in Florence, or, put on the apron for a meal in this home's fully equipped kitchen where you'll find everything you need to create a hearty meal - breakfast, lunch, or dinner! In addition to a stove and microwave, you can gather in the morning 'round a big pile of waffles made in the waffle iron, or savor a nourishing soup cooked for hours in the slow cooker. When the meal's done, sit down in front of the big picture window and enjoy a view of the lake from the bench style dining table. Weather permitting, get the charcoals glowing in the grill out back and barbeque your burgers or salmon.
In the main house, there are four bedrooms and room for 10; two are downstairs. One has a comfy queen bed, the other two twins. There's a full bathroom down here with a walk-in shower. Head upstairs where you'll find two more bedrooms, also with a queen in one, and two twins in the other. You'll find another full bathroom as well. The home has a washer and dryer as well, so those suitcases needn't be so heavy.
If you're traveling with extra people who'd like their own space, two of them can stay in the cute little cottage out back where they can bed down on a queen bed and another full bath. This cozy space has a comfortable living area where you can escape with a book, or watch a movie on the VCR. There's a kitchenette too, complete with a small fridge and a microwave for warming up leftovers, movie popcorn, or a quick snack.
If you've got the boat, there are launches just across the lake. Once you're out there, try your luck for one of the resident largemouth bass, trout, or perch. Bluegill, Cutthroat and Rainbow trout are waiting for you in nearby lakes like Siltcoos, Tahkenitch, and Lily. Challenge yourself to a hike on the dunes down at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, about a half-hour away. Or, for a unique experience, see what it's like to board on sand over at Sand Master Park, just a 15-minute drive to the north. And yes, golfers, you can tee up at Sandpipes Golf Course. Take the kids and the camera over to Sea Lion Caves and watch them cavort on the rocks. For a fun night out, make your way to Three Rivers Casino where you can enjoy dinner, a show, and a chance with Lady Luck.
Experience another aspect of Oregon's rich and diverse coastal region from the comfort of this lovely home nestled right on the shore of Lake Woahink. You'll enjoy the privacy and tranquility of lakeside living, and proximity to the many sites and activities that abound in the Florence area!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Amazing & private place
really loved the location as well as the fireplace outside, the house is big and comfortable and can take large group of people.
Beautiful & serene
Great location and cozy home provided an excellent setting for a small women's retreat. We are looking forward to coming back this summer.
An idyllic lakehouse
This house had the most stunning views, and is supremely secluded. Coming down a long and narrow driveway, you enter a small parking lot that can accommodate three economy cars comfortably, and four cars tightly. Any more than that and you will have a terrible time trying to get in and out. Large trucks and anything towing trailers is a terrible idea to bring. Trying to turn around to back up is tremendously difficult and causes no small amount of swearing from the drivers. Upon entering the main house, it is VERY spacious and welcoming, with very large windows and a wonderful skylight that frames the tops of tall trees and sky. There are plenty of rooms to be able to comfortably accommodate 10 people, more if you squeeze some people in between. There are plenty of bathrooms to keep people comfortable. The kitchen is somewhat small to work in, but the stove and the dishwasher are fairly new and serve well. One dock on one side of the house, and another boardwalk on the other side of the house, provide views that elicit a sense of total peace. The internet, when it is working, is pretty fast at about 15-20 Mbps. It did not fail for us, but when we got there we had to call to have it fixed as it was non-functional. But Vacasa got it up and running within a day, very nice work and attentive when we brought up the issue. The cabin has a strange musty smell, but if you are in and out of it often enough you can sort of get used to it. If it's wet outside, walk on the shingled attached to the decking! Otherwise it get slippery. Not good for Gramma and Gramps, if you know what I mean. This house had plenty of dishes, pots and pans, a nice microwave, toaster, silverware and utensils to make plenty of good food. There are lots of provided spices from previous guests, but much of it is past its prime and needs to be thrown away. Bring all of your own consumables is my only recommendation there. The house is VERY cold in the colder months. Older style windows make it hard to warm it up. Plus the flue in the fireplace is like a winter wind-tunnel. Unless you have a fire going, cold air is going to leech out of there and keep anyone near it very cold. However there is a HUGE abundance of blankets, both light and heavy. Lots of seating area! I particularly loved the dining table, which can easily accommodate 10 people. Washer and drier work perfectly fine and kept our clothes clean. I would stay here again. The cost is a bit restrictive, but if you have multiple parties attending and paying, it makes the whole thing worth it.
my experience staying at this place
I stayed their for two days, the 24th and 25th of December 2017. It says the house has an internet but when we got their the internet didn't work . I tried to call them so many times and they told me to wait. So at the end of the day I called again and told them that I have paid so much money for those two days and I can't have an internet. The guy responded people paid like you and more and they have an issue. I said telling me this wouldn't make it fine that I don't have access to internet specially phone service is really bad at this place. His respond to me was repeating what he said before and hung up on me. And I didn't have an internet during my whole stay.
pictures can not describe how beautiful this place is .
We apologize for the internet outage this guest experienced; unfortunately, it was out of our hands as it was a servicer problem. We also apologize if this guest was not better taken care of when he called in. We have refunded this guest for the inconvenience of being without an advertised amenity.
Our office rented this property for the weekend for a retreat. It was PERFECT
Great House - Great Location
The House was fantastic with plenty of room for our group. We fished off of the dock during the day and hung out by the fire at night. It was close to town and the dunes.
