Amazing vacation home

We stayed seven nights and had a wonderful vacation. The location was ideal; private mountain setting less than 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The cabin’s layout was ideal and decor was warm and inspiring. The outdoor space was inviting and the amenities offered plenty to keep kids and adults entertained. The host’s communication was excellent and she offered many suggestions to make our trip comfortable. I recommend this cabin

Very Disappointing Stay

We were really hopeful about this stay, but unfortunately, there were multiple issues that made it a disappointing experience.The washer was broken for most of our trip, which was a major inconvenience, especially during a longer stay. The host informed us it couldn’t be fixed until after our departure. We reached out to VRBO after the fact, only to be told that we should have contacted them during the stay — even though we had been communicating with the host the entire time and assumed it would be addressed.On top of that, the hot tub had a strong odor and was not properly heating. Even after the host had it “cleaned,” the smell persisted, and appeared to be bacteria buildup — which raised serious concerns for our safety and health. We chose not to use it after that point. Additionally, the hot water inside the unit was dangerously hot, which felt unsafe, especially for families with kids.We tried to be understanding and reasonable, but the lack of resolution and overall response left us frustrated. Just a warning to future guests: if anything goes wrong, contact VRBO directly right away — even if you’re already talking with the host. Otherwise, you may be denied support or a refund after your stay, as we unfortunately were.
