PARKING - Up to 1 small vehicle in the garage. Garage dimensions are approximately 7' x 18'. Please note, these garages were once car ports that were long ago converted to garages and are smaller than most garages. - Nearby street parking may be available. Please follow the posted street signs, as street sweeping occurs regularly in the neighborhood.
HOUSE RULES - MAX OCCUPANCY AT ALL TIMES: 4 - QUIET HOURS: 9pm - 9am - NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, NO EXTRA GUESTS THAT OVER OCCUPIES THE HOME, OR EVENTS ALLOWED. Strictly enforced. - THIS HOME IS NOT PET FRIENDLY. - VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY: There shall be no video, still photography or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. Fees apply. - SMOKING: This home and all Vacation Rentals by Kimberly properties are strictly non-smoking. Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the premises. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.
PLEASE NOTE! - Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental. - Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available. - Exterior surveillance cameras are recording video 24/7. The camera is at the front door. - This unit is situated behind the main house and beneath two other units. It is in a compact area surrounded by neighboring homes. - The property does not have air conditioning or central heating; it is equipped with a single wall heater located in the hallway. - The laundry room has coin-operated machines and is shared with the upstairs units and the main house. - There is no BBQ grill. - While the home does not have air conditioning, opening all the windows creates a refreshing cross-breeze.
CANCELLATION POLICY - A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. - Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). - Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.
PARTIES & OVER OCCUPANCY POLICY If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or over occupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. In addition, should these allegations be found true, the guest will be subject to immediate eviction without a refund.

This ground floor apartment is delightfully clean, quiet and bright, with everything you might need in the apartment and neighborhood! Plenty of street parking and easy to walk to cafes and dining around the corner, and a few blocks to the beach:) We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood with many unique houses and gardens and views.

It was the perfect location. The property was nice and clean. The garage was way too small to call a garage but perhaps storage? The area was in a neighborhood so it had plenty life and sounds. Sometimes loud, but for the most part not horrible. We lost power for a bit but called the guest number and they came out within an hour.The pots and pans were not usable so perhaps ask for new ones if that's going to be something you use. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit was clean and comfortable. There was a convenience store a block away (we had to walk to the store to get change for the laundry... it takes quarters). The area felt very safe and quiet at night. The host was very nice. We always were able to find a parking spot close by on the street. We never needed to try the parking garage it mentions. It did not have a/c, and it was unusually warm and muggy while we were there. But many rentals in San Diego do not have a/c (heat only in most rentals). So long as temps aren't getting into the upper 70's/80's, this is a great choice.
