Loved every minute of my stay!
Perfect quiet getaway
The property and location was perfect for us and our senior dogs as we were looking for a place to unplug and attend a nearby show. While there were not any sidewalks directly from the property, we were able to enjoy walking and running on the roads as they were wide and rural (not a lot of traffic). There were also some nice maintained paths within driving distance. The area appeared to be somewhat bicyclist friendly. So, we'll bring our road bikes on our next trip to this location. Thank you Carol and Pete for welcoming us and providing such a nice place to rest!
We highly recommend this property. Centrally located, extremely relaxing, an amazing property, dog friendly and incredibly hospitable owners. Our every need was considered. City folks like us are going to love the farm atmosphere-and the friendly donkeys, chickens, cat and even an Emu seal the deal!
Time to Exhale
What a relaxing, quaint and amazing place to unwind, relax and have time to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. We LOVED our time sitting on the porch, listening to light jazz and being warmed by the fireplace while listening to the sounds of nature all around. If you are looking for a place to get away from the treadmill of life and just relax - this is it. Effortless, yet close to the things you need with some of the kindest hosts on the planet. We loved our stay and we miss the scones :-)
Every thing was good no complaints
Fantastic country retreat
Downtown Columbia is known for antiquing, micro brew pub, art galleries, and museums. Lancaster City has lots of galleries, restaurants, Central Market, Fulton Opera House, and much more. Amish country can be as close as a neighbor or Bird-in-Hand or Intercourse. Hershey is only 30 mins away and Gettysburg 45 mins.

About Carol Heth
I have lived in this area all of my life and have grown to appreciate the little piece of paradise that we call home.

Why Carol Heth chose Columbia
Growing up down the road and having my Grandparents next door has been a great life experience. The area had always been very family oriented with my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins next door. There are still families that have been here for their lifetime.
