Villa Gorica se encuentra a 5 km al este del centro histórico de Dubrovnik, a 800 m de una gran playa de arena (10 minutos a pie a través de madera y campo). El interior de la villa es suave con portales de piedra decorativos cuyas formas perfiladas definen el exterior y composición del espacio interno. El complejo data de la segunda mitad del siglo XVI. Con sus características de estilo del gótico tardío y el renacimiento, se ha inscrito en el registro del patrimonio cultural de la República de Croacia. El interior de la villa está repleto de muebles restaurados en estilo barroco cuyas ricas texturas aportan la personalidad y el encanto. Las posiciones de la villa, la piscina y el jacuzzi garantizan total privacidad. La villa fue completamente renovada en 2010.

Incredible Dreamy Vacation!!

Our week here was unforgettable! It’s an incredible property & the architecture makes you feel like you are stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts. It was also extra special because Nikolina helped arrange every detail from the warmest welcome with the best food to amazing excursions each day (kayaking, yacht day, ATVs, & the best old town tour guide) Thank you!

A Brilliant Holiday

Villa Gorica is a perfect house for a family holiday. It’s a good size for everyone to spread out and have private space. The pool is excellent and we had hours of fun playing in it. We didn’t hire cars as using taxis was more cost efficient. Nikolina has been a perfect host, both before and during our stay. Thank you Nikolina for a great holiday. It was our first visit to Croatia and will definitely return.

Beautiful Villa

The property is in magnificent shape. The house itself is large, beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are meticulous. It was definitely much grander than we expected. Our host, Nikolina, was actually the greatest part of the villa. We were only in Dubrovnik for 3 days. She helped us to arrange a trip to the old city, an forgettable day on a catamaran that toured the islands, and a great family style dinner in the country side. She arranged all these events and took care of getting us there with her own drivers. one couldn't ask for a better planned 3 days. Count yourself lucky if you are able to book a stay at this villa.

Wonderful villa and owner.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Villa Gorica. The 'we' consisted of our family - 6 of us from the UK and 4 from Australia, with an age range from 3 to 69. We had high expectations after reading all the 5* reviews and we were not disappointed. The villa creates an air of luxury, space, comfort, history and more, while feeling welcoming and homely. Everyone could have their own space and then gather together by the pool, around the table by the barbeque, on the boule area, etc. As everyone has already mentioned, the owner, Nikolina is definitely 5* and helped to make our stay so special. From her answers to our questions before we arrived, her friendly greeting complimented by the drinks and huge bowl of fruit on our arrival, clean towels mid week and her help with arrangements to enhance our visit. A week was not long enough to do all we wanted to do, but we would certainly recommend the boat trip and the meal cooked at the villa by Nikolas, the chef - all arranged by Nikolina. The food was sublime. Our thanks also go to Nikolina's friend, the lady taxi driver who was so helpful and friendly. We had hired 2 cars, but really could have managed with taxis and buses, as parking is virtually impossible. Be prepared for the ruined buildings behind the nearest beach (a reminder of Croatia troubled past), but the adjacent beaches and cafes and restaurants are lovely. We found the Croatian people very welcoming and friendly and the scenery is stunning. I hope we can return soon. Thank you, Nikolina for helping us to have such a memorable holiday, from the Georges, Bulmers and Boulters.

Three generations of family under one roof

We'll start off saying that this property is nothing short of amazing. However, the star of the show was Nikolina. Definitely the most attentive vacation rental host we've ever encountered. She can arrange for just about anything during your stay. Additionally, she personally drove us around the immediate neighborhood to show us local restaurants , grocery stores, and other local sites. She even arranged for a personal chef to come in and cook dinner for us. The villa itself was "one of a kind", and has been in Nikolina's family for generations. Lots of space--and just as pretty as the pictures. We had five kids with us (ages 9-18) and they had plenty of entertainment--pool, bocce ball, etc. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, all recently updated. We will be back for sure--thank you Nikolina!

Our Family Treat

We recently took all of our kids, their partners and our grandchildren to Nikolina's fabulous Villa Gorica. It could not have been more perfect for everyone. The little ones had loads of space to run around, play, swim and explore. Our teenage granddaughter was even caught smiling!!! The adults loved the space and we spent every night in front of the fire eating and chatting. The Villa is beautiful and very inviting. The rooms are perfectly appointed. Nikolina was incredible. From the correspond we had with her before arriving, right through to the hugs with her as we left. She organized everything for us from airport transfers, grocery store runs and a fabulous day out on a boat. It was truly better than we could ever have expected and the entire family from the 3 year old to the 'oldest' enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much Nikolina for making our family holiday such a treat. Sandy

Perfect Villa & wonderful Host

We spent an amazing time at Villa Gorica. The Villa and the huge property are clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. What we liked most was the location, offering both privacy and short distances to Sightseeing and shopping opportunities. Not to forget the best host you could imagine. Beautiful property, great amenities, amazing host!

First off - the property is amazing and so is the host, Nikolina! We loved our time at the house as well as our time in the beautiful surrounding area. The house has a really cool authentic feel to it, and it is within walking distance to Mlini and a relatively short taxi ride into Dubrovnik. Nikolina made us feel right at home and helped make everything about our trip go smoothly. She is also a fantastic cook and made several meals for us during our stay, including a delicious Croatian lunch for 13 people! This was my third trip to the Dubrovnik area, and I would highly recommend staying here if given the opportunity!

A wonderful week at Villa Gorica

Beautiful villa but Nikolina is the true gem here.❤️She was truly wonderful. Her suggestions are terrific and she is always positive. We only wish the downstairs bedroom had air-conditioning, but that was not a huge deal considering all of the other positives. We’d highly recommend this gorgeous property.

A Magical Week at Villa Gorica

The villa was perfect for our family of 11. It was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The grounds were also beautifully maintained. Nikolina was the true gem on the property. She was always available to answer questions, provide recommendations and to ensure our family had a wonderful stay. Our favorite activity Nikolina arranged was the boat ride to the three islands and having lunch on the island of Sipan. It was one of the best meals we've ever had (the chef served us family style and we didn't have to make any decisions). The drivers Nikolina had for us were excellent. The restaurants Nikolina recommended were good and the meals Nikolina cooked for our family were excellent. We just ran out of time to do everything Nikolina recommended as our son was getting married and we had wedding activities to do. I would highly recommend this property. The only thing I would want people to be aware of is that there is no air-conditioning in the one bedroom downstairs but the nights generally cool down enough to leave the windows open, if you're so inclined. We hope to return to Villa Gorica someday.

Lovely villa, great host

The villa is lovely - a beautiful 400+ year old building with tasteful interiors, a gorgeous courtyard and great pool. Nikolina is an amazing host - she has lots of helpful tips, and we had the most wonderful day on the boat she had booked for us. She is totally committed to ensuring her guests have a great stay. It was a very uniquely personal experience to get to know our host and her lovely family. Very, very highly recommended

I and my partner stayed for a week in this charming characteristic villa in a beautiful setting. The villa is sounded by gardens and views with plenty of facilities to keep you occupied and relaxed. With a good sized swimming pool fitted with Jacuzzi jets positioned in spot with maximum sunlight was very relaxing. It was hard to get away from the villa since it was so relaxing to stay there. The locations of the villa is Ideal place to stay (about 25 mins drive from the airport) and explore tourist attractions in Dubrovnik (10 mins drive) or further away. Always looked forward to coming back to the tranquillity of the Villa after an evening/day out. Host Nikolina was very welcoming and accommodating of any queries and requests. We wanted to cook ourselves on a few days and found the villa to be well equipped for cooking inside or barbeques outside, with good choice of shops and super stores nearby. Simply The Best

We visited Dubrovnik for a family wedding and were delighted to stay at the Villa Gorika. There were 10 adults and 5 young children in our party and the villa comfortably accommodated us. Not only is the villa itself full of character, but the gardens and facilities on-site are excellent. The villa was clean and organised for our arrival and the owners were very helpful and friendly. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and is in the sun most of the day. There is a huge barbecue area and a boules court, children's playpark, badminton/basketball court on-site. The relatively short walk to the coast is interesting and there are shops and restaurants within about 20 mins walk. The owners arranged for a regular taxi driver (charming lady) who took us wherever we needed to go and was always ready. We would definitely recommend staying at the villa and hope to return ourselves in the near future.

Beautiful villa, fantastic host!

I stayed here with my large family (including lots of small children) for my sister's wedding. The villa was ideal for all of us from my elderly mother right down to our youngest member who is only 1 year old. Nikolina was very welcoming, helpful and kind. She was able to facilitate anything we asked for. The taxi service was also very useful. Nikolina was able to recommend some lovely local places to eat and also provided a chef that cooked us a lovely barbeque one evening. The property is 16th century and is everything you'd expect from such a characterful home. It was clean and full of everything we needed including plenty of towels and toiletries to make our stay even more pleasant. We went in October so the pool wasn't as warm as the high season but there were plenty of loungers to relax and occasionally dip our feet in. The en-suites were huge and very modern. I would definitely recommend! It was a bargain in October, the perfect time to go as the weather was amazing. Close to airport and Dubrovnik, the taxi service always took us where we wanted to go! Oh and you must try the homemade liqueurs! Thank you Nikolina xx

A MEMORABLE WEEK IN AN HISTORIC VILLA

We had a wonderful week in July in this very unique villa. It's absolutely gorgeous, so pretty and with an interesting history. If you're looking for traditional, this is the villa for you. However there are also all the mod cons you need for a relaxing holiday. With just the four of us there, we had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Outside there is a lovely swimming pool area and another area where we enjoyed eating in the evenings. When I made the booking, I was told that we would be spoilt by the owner. How true that turned out to be! Nikolina was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She drove us around the local area so we knew where things were, she booked taxis, booked us a table at a delicious restaurant and organised a speedboat trip one morning. Even when the WIFI crashed, (a major incident for our children!), she was over straightaway to sort it out. It really is a beautiful villa in a very quiet area. For families with young children, you may want a car as the walk to the beach is around 20 minutes. There is a very good supermarket close by too. Going at peak time in the summer, Dubrovnik was obviously busy. We went into the old part.late afternoon which turned out to be a good time. I'd definitely recommend this villa!

Family Birthday holiday

We were looking for a property in the Dubrovnik area for friends and family that was suitable for our 3 young grandchildren. The villa proved to be ideal in every respect: great location, super accommodation with a swimming pool which was accessed through a gate providing a good safety feature for our grandchildren. However the best feature of the property was the excellent service provided by Nikolina. Friendly, helpful and full of really good advice: her recommendations for restaurants and trips in the area all worked wonderfully well and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. You will not be disappointed.

A stunning and luxurious villa

We arrived as a group of 11, various ages. The moment you arrive at the prooerty there is a complete "Wow" factor. You feel like you have just stepped into a little bit of historic paradise. The house is beautiful. The gardens, courtyard (bbq) and pool areas are 5 star. The layout of the property means there is space for everyone. Inside, the bedrooms and bathrooms are all finished to a really high standard. Nikolina and her family live next door and are incredibly helpful. She helped us organise trips (the yacht trip is a must), gave us so much advice, helped arrange taxi's and even made soup for one of our group when he became ill. We fell in live with Croatia during our trip. If you book this villa then you are in for a treat. We will be back.

Stunning Villa for a PERFECT Wedding Week!!

A wedding week is something that can be stressful and require lots of advance/last minute planning. I can honestly say that Nikolina and her family made our wedding week more than we could have ever imagined. The personal touch started right from our arrival as we were welcomed with local liquors to celebrate the beginning of our wedding week. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and ideal for our needs. The villa is located within its own private walls allowing for absolute privacy from the surrounding area. Nikolina was consistently prompt with communication prior to our arrival, during a pre-wedding visit, and during the wedding week. Nikolina, literally, handled everything. If we needed a taxi for anyone at the villa it was at the door within 5 minutes. She planned an amazing boat trip for 13 of us to nearby islands, arranged delivery for food on several occasions, and even cooked a traditional meal for us. On our wedding day, the grounds were spotless and well-manicured. Nikolina set up the entire reception dinner that was prepared outside on an open fire. The table was set to perfection, the wine was amazing, and the service was of the highest standard. We cannot begin to recommend Nikolina and Villa Gorica enough. I have no doubts whether you are planning a simple family holiday, wedding, or any other event that Nikolina could arrange anything you could possibly need.

Superb Villa

What a fabulous time we had at Nikolina's lovely villa. My family and I stayed they for 10 nights from July 14th. My three adult children with husbands and partner and my father celebrated my 50th birthday there. We were not disappointed. The villa is huge and well equipped, the bedrooms all have en suites bar one where the bathroom is next door. Everywhere is immaculate including the gardens. The villa has a lovely pool and ample comfortable seating. The grounds are amazing and there are several seating and eating areas plus outside BBQ. The badminton courts were popular with our crowd. Nikolina was the perfect host and all her recommendations and reservations were faultless. It was nice to meet the lady I had been emailing for the past 6 months and find that she is such a genuine lady who just wants you to have a fabulous holiday. The beach and bars are about 10 minute walk away but you will need a taxi to go anywhere else but Nikolina will arrange this for you. My daughter forgot her medication and Nikolina took us to 3 pharmacies and the A and E department making sure we got the medication. Nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate in making a recommendation to stay at this villa . I would go back in a shot!!

Villa Gorica - A little slice of heaven

We stayed in the villa with family and friends for our wedding in Dubrovnik. From the moment we arrived, Nikolina could not do enough for us, we arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. She was full of suggestions for things to do and organised everything for us, nothing was too much trouble. During our stay, she organised a local chef to cook for us, and also a boat trip which was a fantastic experience. The villa itself was immaculate and the grounds were very well kept. The old town of Dubrovnik is about 15 mins away by car and the village Mlini is about 5-10 mins. There is a small shop about 15-20 mins walk from the villa but if you need to do a big shop, you will need a taxi. Again Nikolina helped to arrange this for us, we had a lovely driver called Kruna who looked after us all week. The villa is perfect for families with or without children, it is private so you don't have to worry about being overlooked or noisy neighbours! The kids loved the pool and the play area. I would return without hesitation and I would highly recommend the villa. Thank you Nikolina, you helped to make our wedding perfect. Superb Villa

My three adult children with husbands and partner and my father celebrated my 50th birthday there. We were not disappointed. The villa is huge and well equipped, the bedrooms all have en suites bar one where the bathroom is next door. Everywhere is immaculate including the gardens. The villa has a lovely pool and ample comfortable seating. The grounds are amazing and there are several seating and eating areas plus outside BBQ. The badminton courts were popular with our crowd. Nikolina was the perfect host and all her recommendations and reservations were faultless. It was nice to meet the lady I had been emailing for the past 6 months and find that she is such a genuine lady who just wants you to have a fabulous holiday. The beach and bars are about 10 minute walk away but you will need a taxi to go anywhere else but Nikolina will arrange this for you. My daughter forgot her medication and Nikolina took us to 3 pharmacies and the A and E department making sure we got the medication. Nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate in making a recommendation to stay at this villa . I would go back in a shot!!

wonderful location for family holiday

Really impressed with this lovely Villa that offers so much for the family with highly furnished accommodation and lovely swimming pool and poolside furnishings. There is a beautiful courtyard in which the owner prepared us local food, plus a BBQ set up for use. We loved the badminton court and basketball net to take some exercise in this very relaxing setting. The owner is incredibly helpful and really charming. If you stay here you are in very good hands.

Wonderful villa in beautiful setting!

We stayed at this beautiful villa for a week with 6 other friends. The villa is very spacious and well equipped. The gardens are very pretty with plenty of outside areas to sit and relax, the pool area is lovely with a large gazebo at one end for some welcome shade. The villa is ideally situated to explore the coast and Dubrovnik. Nikolina (the owner) was extremely helpful with arranging restaurants, a guide for Dubrovnik, a chef to cook an evening meal and boat hire amongst other things. We had a thoroughly relaxing time and hope very much to return one day!
