Cute little cottage, well kept and very clean. Very comfortable for my wife and me. Close to Traverse City and other attractions. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very cute, well maintained and in a very quiet setting but close to Traverse City. The bed was comfortable but would recommend to the host to put in a nightstand with a lamp. The kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances and dishware. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

What a beautiful location and adorable little place to stay! Very convenient to Interlochen and Traverse City, and less than an hour to Sleeping Bear Dunes. This place worked well for our family of three, and we hope to return the next time we're in the area.

The house is adorable and has all the amenities. Host was wonderful, very friendly. The property was perfectly located and provided a relaxing environment. Highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed our stay at the little house. It was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. Amanda was lovely and generous with her time. It was quiet and relaxing, perfect for us. The location was great. Close enough to Traverse City without the traffic.

The property was as advertised. We felt safe and cozy. It is in peaceful and quiet location. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The response time of the host, Amanda, was amazing.We wish that the horse and donkey were at the property, but it seems they were traveling.

The host was amazing in her upkeep of the house. The house was also stocked with items that weren't on the list just in case something was forgotten by the traveler. The property is located in a very peaceful setting, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Traverse City. This was an wonderful place to stay!

Our stay couldn't be more perfect! Adorable little house! Felt like home the minute we walked in. The host was very pleasant and made sure we were happy. The beds were so very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed hearing about the history of her homestead and meeting beautiful Shire horse and her adorable donkey, and not to forget her two adorable 4 legged greeters! I personally was saddened when it came time to go home.

This was perfect for my daughter and I while exploring Traverse City. Amanda was more than accommodating. Ivan the horse and Henry donkey are the absolute sweetest!! The kitchen is perfect for us as we like to cook soy of our own meals because we have food allergies. The space was great. Thank you so much for making our vacation amazing. Highly recommended stay. Not too far from Wilson’s antiques, Peninsula Cellars, or Blackstar Farm!!

Perfect for 2 people. Very homey and visiting with the animals on property was great! Host was very gracious on letting us pet the animals when she was out in the evening feeding them.

This was a nice quite location in the country. We had concert tickets at Interlochen and it was only about 15 minutes away. We are also bicycle enthusiast and it was a nice location to drive to both Frankfurt and Glenn Arbor which both have beautiful bike trails. Also, close to Traverse City! Amanda was great! She even introduced me to her horse and donkey on the property. I would not hesitate to rebook the next time we are in the Traverse City area!

Sweet Escape

We stayed at this cozy house for a week and it was perfect. It was in the country so we felt like we got away, yet it was close to Traverse City for dining and shopping. We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two.

Cozy getaway with animal friends

My husband and I had a great time meeting all of the animals on the property. Amanda, Timber, Harold, and Ivan made our stay memorable and wonderful. We particularly enjoyed spending a night beside the fire and enjoying the stars. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
