Three block walk to 125th Street subway. Take the express A or D to midtown 59th street in less than 15 minutes. Or take the local B & C subway to midtown or the Museum of Natural History at 81st Street in less than 10 minutes.

Felt like home

The apartment is perfect! So cozy and adorable, makes you feel like you belong to that place. I've spent some of the best days of my life in NYC and definitely this apartment is one the reasons. Sonja is the best host I've ever met, she's pretty adorable and attentive. I can't wait to come back!

Charming apartment and easy process

Everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment is charming and in a lovely neighborhood. Away from the more touristy areas, but with plenty to do, including nice walks. We loved our stay inside, especially the adorable kitchen. Everything we needed and more. Seamless check in and communication. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great and cosy spot!

The apartment is ideal for a couple who want to be comfortable and cosy in NYC! Super close to subway station to get everywhere. Apartment has everything you could need and more — host was also very communicative and helpful!

Location great but apartment was disappointing

Based on the online presentation we had expected a much nicer apartment and house. The enterance to the apartment was littered with garbage and not pleasant at all. In addition to the poor cleanness of the apartment, we had problems with the heating and thus could not enjoy our stay at the appartment in December.

Sweet little Harlem gem

Great place! Great location from subway about 3 blocks. Had everything you need. We cooked a couple meals there. Bed was very comfortable and pillows. Quiet neighborhood. We would stay again!

The property has everything you need and was clean and organized. There were a few minor things like having to put the key back in the lockbox because there was not an extra one but it was actually a relief not to have to carry the key and possibly lose it. There were a few small things that could have been improved but for the most part everything went well. It was comfortable!

This really was a home from home. It had everything you could want. Sonia and Mary were always helpful. The apartment was spacious and welcoming.

Enjoyed our stay

Sunday through Wed stay. Very convenient, comfortable, quiet and safe. Close to subway, eateries, wine shop and local markets. We plan to stay here again. Two pillows were soft two were really hard. Washing machine out of order. Need passwords to watch tv.

Spacious Place, Nice Host, Love Uptown

Very spacious and cozy place. Convenient street parking in area. I lived in the area for awhile and enjoy visiting. Check out the jazz clubs.

Birthday weekend

My mother and I went to NYC for my 30th birthday. The property was very clean and fully furnished. Great neighborhood close to subway and bus line that stops at the LGA airport. Check in and check out was a breeze. Property manager easy to contact and quickly responded. Would highly recommend..

The apartment was a quaint 1bedroom in a decent neighborhood. It had everything you could ask for. Short walk to subway and Central Park. Really enjoyed our stay!!!

If you are good with using public transportation, then this isn’t a bad spot! The space was nice and spacious. Kitchen had lots of cook wear, and bedroom was big. The outdoor space (off the bedroom) would be really nice if they eventually cleaned it up! Wasn’t a loud area, so that was good for sleeping. Had some cool restaurants around the college area, nothing really close though. We mainly used this space for sleeping, as we were out and about exploring all day!

Our birthdays in NYC

My daughter and I planned a trip to celebrate our birthdays. We wanted to be close to Central Park to run and close to subway to go to Yankee game and YS Open. Great location! Mary lives above property and is easily reached to answer any questions.

Buena ubicación, casa deteriorada y no muy limpia

La casa es tal cual se ve en las imágenes, pero necesita bastantes arreglos. Luces que no funcionan, aparatos portátiles de aire, cucarachas en la cocina. Cómo útiles y detalles tiene de todo, pero lo que es el mantenimiento en general es bastante mejorable. Justo antes de llegar nos avisaron que había un andamio en la entrada, la verdad que era bastante incómodo acceder y quitaba luz al comedor

A Hidden Gem in Harlem

This place is stocked with everything you’ll ever need for a great stay. The unit is well organized, clean and spacious! More space than the pictures captured. Check in was super easy and shopping, restaurants, etc. are just footsteps away. I’d stay here again without hesitation! I even saw and met a few celebrities walking in the neighborhood! What a gem in the heart or Harlem.

Holiday in NYC

Would I stay again; Yes. Spacious Property on ground flood in Harlem circa 100 mtr from Express train into Central Manhatten. Tastefully decorated, If you want to cook; then you have all the equipment you need and local Supermarket 3 blocks away (3 floors). Local restaurant Vinateria really enjoyed and it was good to get away from all the hustle of Downtime. Why not 5? Couple of fixings (bathroom towel hook) are starting to come loose, but this is all minor for the cost and space you have paid for in Harlem. It was a pleasant place to sit in evening after all the sightseeing of the day.

Harlem apartment

Apartment located just minutes from the 125th street subway station, which makes it very handy. It’s well equipped, especially the kitchen. I had booked it specifically because it had a washer & drier advertised (as I had been travelling for 10 days and this was the start of a 5 day holiday). I was therefore initially upset at the labels on the washer & drier saying they were out of use, however on contacting Sonja, she sent someone around to show how they could be used. There are parts of the apartment (paintwork, woodwork etc) that look a little unfinished and there were some cobwebs etc throughout. However, overall it’s a great place to stay.

Adorable 1 bedroom space

The property needs a deep cleaning. On the surface everything appeared clean but the more you looked around you see a lot of room for improvement. Another strange thing is that the property owner had a book on the coffee table that had pictures of every item in the property and you were expected to check to make sure that everything was in the apartment. The property owner did allow us to drop off our bags early which was much appreciated. Also I did not get the information about there being no cable service until right before we went on our trip which was disappointing. My sister was eventually able to get on Direct TV so we could watch TV but the internet service was not that great and the picture kept stalling. Also we had to ask for clean towels every day. I would have thought that would have been an automatic service. The plus side was it was very close to the bus and subway so catching a ride somewhere was very easy. Overall it was OK but not that great. I probably would not try booking an apartment or house again. This was our first time trying this type of housing and we will probably stick to hotels in the future. We also checked out a day early.
