I’m a Florida-based host who truly enjoys creating welcoming spaces where guests can relax, feel at home, and experience the best of the local community. I love Lakeland for its charm, walkability, and the sense of connection it offers, and I enjoy sharing that experience with others.

Professionally, I work as a family mediator and co-parenting coach, and I lead a nonprofit organization called Kids Need Both, Inc., which supports families through challenging transitions. Creating safe, comfortable environments is something I value deeply, both in my work and in hosting.

This cottage is part of a neighborhood I genuinely love, and it brings me joy to offer a place where guests can unwind after a day of exploring, working, or visiting loved ones. Whether you are here for a short getaway, a local event, or a longer stay, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this neighborhood because of its unique blend of historic charm, walkability, and genuine sense of community. Dixieland is one of Lakeland’s most beloved areas, known for its character-filled homes, tree-lined streets, and friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

What I enjoy most is how easy it is to step outside and immediately feel connected to the surroundings. Within just a short walk, you can reach local coffee shops, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, the public library, and cultural spots that give downtown Lakeland its personality. It’s the kind of place where you can park your car and truly enjoy exploring on foot.

The nearby lakes are another favorite feature. They offer peaceful walking paths, beautiful scenery, and a chance to slow down and take in the natural beauty of the area. Whether it’s a quiet morning walk or an evening stroll at sunset, the lakes add a sense of calm that makes this neighborhood special.

There is also a vibrant energy here, with Florida Southern College nearby and local events throughout the year, including art festivals like Mayfaire. At the same time, the neighborhood remains peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect balance of activity and retreat.

It’s a place that feels both lively and grounded, and that is exactly what makes it so special to share with guests.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes this cottage unique is the combination of privacy, charm, and an unbeatable location in one of Lakeland’s most walkable historic neighborhoods. While many places offer convenience, this space offers a true sense of retreat while still being just steps away from everything.

The cottage is tucked away in a peaceful setting, giving guests a quiet, private place to relax, yet it is located right in the heart of Dixieland. You can walk to lakes, coffee shops, restaurants, and downtown, then return to a calm, cozy space that feels separate from the activity.

Inside, the cottage is thoughtfully designed to feel warm and comfortable, making it ideal for both short getaways and longer stays. It is especially well suited for couples, solo travelers, and professionals who want a space that feels like home rather than a standard rental.

What truly sets it apart is the balance it offers. Guests often love that they can enjoy the charm and energy of downtown Lakeland without giving up peace and privacy. It is a place where you can start your day with a walk by the lake, spend time exploring local spots, and come back to unwind in your own quiet space.

It is simple, inviting, and perfectly located, which makes it a rare find in this area.
