What makes this cabin unique

There are four beautiful seasons to enjoy here in Middle Tennessee. Fall offers the most vibrant colors of all seasons with the turning of the leaves. The best time to enjoy the colors is mid-late October through mid-November. Winter is beautiful with the evergreen trees and a chance of snow now and then. Spring is awesome with many flowers and the Red Bud Trees in bloom. Summer is a great time to enjoy outdoor activities in the area.

Regardless of the season, many of our activities like Hiking, Biking, Kayaking and Golf can be enjoyed almost year round. If you have any questions, call us or send us an email and we will answer just as soon as possible.

Nice cozy cabin / great value

  • 5 of 5

My family of 3 from Charlotte met my sister and her family (of 3) from Kansas at this cabin in TN and it worked out great for us. We enjoyed the peace & quiet - wish it was a little farther from the road - but still it was peaceful. Our young daughter couldn't get enough of the porch swing, ha. The accommodations were great; had everything we needed to cook a few meals, cook out, have a campfire, etc. Shower water pressure was great too (it beats most hotels). Enjoyed the distance it is to Fall Creek Falls Park as hiking there was also one of our favorite things of the trip. We enjoyed the few days in the cabin more than we enjoyed Nashville.

Thanks Hank & Terri! God Bless!

A comfortable, clean cabin with easy access to Fall Creek Falls.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was immaculate, extremely well decorated and very comfortable. The grounds we're secluded and very well maintained. The entire setting was excellent.

Awesome location close to State park. Easy access from highway but quiet.

  • 5 of 5

Loved this place for my wife and I to get away. Well kept and clean. We came to check out the State park Falls Creek Falls. Also the ISHA foundation Yoga retreat. Both were within a 15 minute drive. Very relaxing place to check out the stars at night. No intrusive neighboring lights. Would return. hopefully will.

Clean, well cared for. Plate of homemade fudge waiting for us was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful places to recuperate and work our puzzle.

Cabin on the Creek has EVERYTHING.

  • 5 of 5

'Cabin on the Creek' is simply lovely. As soon as we walked through the door we were amazed. It is truly a welcoming place to see. It is stocked with every kitchen utensil and appliance. It has coffee filters, pots, pans and plenty of soap. We made breakfast everything morning and that made it faster for us to hit the hiking trails. The cabin looks brand new and the yard is huge and no neighbors. We loved the cabin so much, we did not want to leave so our last day there we ran down to Save a lot .. ..only 7 miles away and picked up dinner, grilled out, ate on the back porch then built a fire. The fire pit was so fun. Just a suggestion bring charcoal, items for s'mores and paper plates, plastic forks spoons & cups. Makes for an easy clean up. There are plenty of places to buy firewood when you get to Spencer. When looking for mile marker 7 be sure you are in Spencer, there are a lot of mm 7's on HWY 111. Follow directions- it's easy to find. Don't let the rain hold you back from hiking, with all the leaf coverage we never got wet. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. They answer all your questions and best of all there is a sweet treat waiting when you arrive. We hope we can go back in the future & if we do we will rent this oasis again. **Thanks for a great week-end at Cabin on The Creek!!!

Perfect spot for a getaway and watching the 2017 Eclipse!

  • 5 of 5

We sincerely want to thank you for our stay at the Cabin on the Creek. It will forever be one of the most memorable vacations of our lives. We were able to fully view the incredible Solar Eclipse of 2017 from the Cabin here. Right in the path of totality, with a clear sky, we watched outside for hours until finally the sky went dark for several minutes, encompassing us in near-nighttime level of darkness, exposing the brighter stars and planets and forever etching in our memories the Eclipse at the Cabin on the Creek in Tennessee. You allowed us to experience something here that we may never again, and it was an experience we can have in our memories for the rest of our lives. We quickly made your beautiful cabin and property our home for our short time here, and between the Fall Creek Falls State Park, The Eclipse and the memories made, we can confidently put this delightful cabin stay at the top of our favorite vacation list for a long, long time. Thank you again.
