Great location, family friendly, and spacious. It lacked sufficient necessities like toilet paper, paper towels, a kitchen sponge, etc. Overall, it was a great experience.

Our villas, like most vacation rentals, provide starters for paper products and toiletries. Usually it is enough for just a couple of days. Glad to have helped with a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay . Dave was a wonderful host and the location was perfect ! We could walk to the beach , use the pool and take a trolley to Harbourtown . Would definitely stay again !

Great spring break trip

We loved our stay! The condo was perfect for our family. We rented bikes across the street and rode them daily- on the beach and the numerous trails! The access to the Beach Club was great. We had a fantastic lunch their twice. We would definitely recommend this condo and would return again.

Great property in an excellent location!

Clean, spacious villa in a perfect Sea Pines location. Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, and short drive (or 15 minute bike ride) to South Beach. Their were 5 of us total, and everyone had plenty of room and their own bed. 2 spacious bathrooms with plenty of open space for relaxing. Bike path right across the street along with a bike rental place if you don't bring your own. Beautiful view of a lagoon and a par 3 out the back. Highly recommended.

the upstairs was warm while the downstairs was cold. suggest ceiling fans upstairs. the Carolina room was really nice. rental was not as clean as we are accustomed. when first arriving the door was unlocked. refrig had drink and some food

Hi Ed - I wish you would have contacted me about your concerns during your stay - I'm sure we could have found a simple solution. Regarding the upstairs bedrooms being warm, I've never had a that issue during the summer months. I'm thinking the AC vents were probably just closed so those rooms weren't getting full AC

Great Hilton Head Location

My husband and I, along with our children and grandson enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head. Dave’s villa was in the perfect location. It was a quick walk to the Sea Pines Beach Resort, even with an infant. He supplied a cart, chairs and beach toys that made it so easy for us to enjoy our time at the beach. There were ample supplies in the house that made cooking in easy and enjoyable. We also enjoyed the pool that was just steps away from the villa. Everything was exactly as the description said it was. It was clean and provided everything we needed for a week at the beach. Dave was a very responsive and accommodating host. We would definitely stay at his place again the next time we’re in Hilton Head.

Loved the location!

Location is important to me and it was great! Close to the beach, close to forest preserve, basically well center to go anywhere in sea pines by bike. My main issue with this house was the gas grill, it was nasty dirty, we had planned to cook hamburgers on our first night there and couldn’t do that due to the condition of the grill. Other than that we had a great stay. Furnishings are on the simple/cheap/basic side, but worked well. Location is excellent, quality of bedding/furniture/towels/pots and pans/etc … could have been much better. Thanks for allowing us to stay here! Dave, the host, was great to work with!

Thanks for your feedback Laura. Agree that the pots and pans are due for replacement/upgrade - I'll take care of that soon. My apologies for the grill being so dirty - it's on my list for an upgrade as well.

Spacious Hilton head condo

We had a nice stay in this property. Pros: Lots of space Updated appliances Comfy beds There was a pack and play (we forgot to bring one) Location- across the street from bike rentals/golf course Clean and quiet Free wifi Cons: The website claimed there was a cart to use with the bicycles, but there wasn't one on the property so we still had to rent one They did have Netflix, but it wasn't working while we were there. I never checked on it though because we weren't there to watch tv Other notes- there wasn't any carpet and the stairs are exposed underneath, so we had a challenge letting the youngest one wander around the house. Also, I would bring my own soaps/dish soap. The ones that were there didn't quite do the job. I did like that their was a hair dryer because we all forgot one. It was a very nice stay and I would definitely stay here again!

The Pros and Cons…

The pros and cons of this property: Pros: 1.) Location is amazing, the golf course and pool is literally in the back yard, the unit is across street from golf course and bike rental shop and it’s only a quick walk to the beach club. 2.) Square footage is nice with 3 bedrooms and 3.) Timely communication with owner ahead of our stay, regarding the check in process. Cons: 1.) The unit was not clean upon arrival. The counters were dirty, refrigerator was not cleaned, there was hair in the shower and it didn’t drain properly and the floors were so dirty they stained your white socks black. We had to clean the unit, pick up dead bugs on the floor, wash the bedding, etc. 2.) There were roaches and other bugs throughout the unit upon arrival and during our stay and 3.) The furniture desperately needed to be replaced, it was old, worn and dirty. I’ll summarize with, if location is key for you, this is the place to stay.

I'm sorry you had so many cons to your stay. You did mention a few dead bugs and the fridge in your text, but that was the only message you sent and you used the phrase "just a heads up". I do wish you had let me know that you felt the need to "clean the unit" and "wash the bedding". If you look at my other reviews, whenever there is is a problem, it is resolved to the guests satisfaction. This is by far the worst review I have ever received, so I wanted to go down there for myself and take a look at things with a fresh perspective before responding. Regarding the furniture "desperately needed to be replaced" - The cover on the couch did have a stain on the very bottom of it near the floor (not in the part you sit on) and was a bit worn. I was already planning on re-covering that and did so last weekend. But I should have given a heads up on that so it wasn't a surprise. The arm chair in the master bedroom is a little worn - it's on my list to replace in the upcoming months. All of the reclining furniture is literally brand new - less than 6 months old. The gray chairs around the dining room table are new as well. A mix of newer and older furniture is pretty normal for a rental (especially a beach rental). I'm working with my cleaning company to come up with a new approach for 2023 as I have gotten more cleaning complaints than usual this year. Obviously that doesn't help you with your stay, but I do take these reviews seriously and this is definitely not that experience I want to provide to my renters. Thank you for your feedback.

Relaxing summer vacation!

I just spent a wonderful 3 weeks here. The location was perfect - a quick walk or bike ride to the beach, and an easy drive to all our favorite restaurants on the island. We enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the many bike paths in and around Sea Pines. If my vacation plans include Hilton Head next summer I hope this villa is available for another extended stay!

Wonderful property

Wonderful vacation spot! We loved this property. I stayed with my 3 children and it’s the perfect location. A short bike to the beach and the pool is just steps from the back door. The condo is spacious and has everything we needed. The host was also very responsive and answered all my questions. We left a phone charger at the property and it was promptly mailed back to me. Great experience! You will have a wonderful time here.

Great Property

Great spot on Hilton Head. The property was close to everything! The house was very nice-loved the tv room with its views of the golf course. Large open kitchen/dining/gathering area perfect for company. The golf course and walking areas were great and were accessible just outside the door.

Great location!

We love this area of Sea Pines. Close to beach and beach club without beachfront prices. Unit was tidy and clean. Outdoor pool is *right* there so that was cool. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. Overall the living and dining room furnishings could use a refresh, but it’s a beach house so just go with the lived-in vibe. You’ll have a great time, just like we did.

We loved staying at this property. It was such a nice quiet area. The location was great and the pool was so beautiful. We also enjoyed walking to the beach. Dave was always so prompt in answering any of the questions we had. We definitely will be going back again and would stay in the same place. We would recommend this unit to anyone who is going to Hilton Head.

Great place, perfect location for golf enthusiasts

Great location for our golf weekend. Walk across the street to the clubhouse for 2 incredible courses. Also a relatively short walk to the beach. The place was as advertised and Dave made the check in process super easy
