Haleakala Shores #B-301 is a 2 bedroom / 2 bath, upstairs unit with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/Dryer, and Cable TV/DVD. It is right across the street from Kamaole Beach #3. With a King bed in the Master bedroom and two twins in the Guest bedroom that can be converted into a King bed as well. Haleakala Shores #B-301 can sleep 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 24 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Haleakala Shores is a condominium complex located directly across from Kamaole Beaches II and III. The Kamaole Beaches are world class beaches with lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and playground with picnic areas. It has a protected sandy beach which is great for beach walks, whale watching in the winter, magnificent sunsets, swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. Haleakala Shores has a nice pool area, gas barbeques and free parking.

Nice stay but could've been better

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Haleakala Shores is perfectly located near many amenities in Kihei. The grounds are excellent and well-maintained. Dedicated covered parking is a plus. This was our second stay there.The condo B-301 could've been better. The unit had all the amenities needed for our stay. Plenty of kitchenware and cooking supplies, multiple beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, towels, and cleaning and laundry supplies. Large windows and the open balcony facing towards the ocean were great, although the view is mostly trees, sky, swimming pool, power lines, mountains, and just a sliver of the ocean. Our first day was the worst. In an effort to decrease energy and maximize natural sunlight, the condo was left with the air conditioning unit off, fans off, and curtains wide open, allowing the heat to build up. Upon arrival, it had to be near 100 degrees in the condo. We slept miserably and couldn't get the unit cooled down until the next morning. There is 1 small wall air conditioner that only cools one side of the condo. There are instructions requesting to use it for only 6 hrs at a time, but it needs to run longer to keep the temp manageable. There is also a portable AC that can be used, but it is loud, inconvenient, and produces more heat. Numerous standing fans and a few ceiling fans are loud, dirty, and covered in dust. We left them on for most of the day to keep the condo cooler. The large windows were nice for the views, but the curtains were kept closed all day to block the heat. The coverings on all the windows and doors were difficult to slide on their tracks, and all appeared dirty and old. The bathrooms had no circulating airflow, only small counter fans. There is carpet in the bedrooms and an area rug in the living area that appear dirty and spotted. We would stay at Haleakala Shores again but not this unit. We had a good vacation, but the cons outweigh the pros. Manage the heat, look past the outdated carpet, fans, AC, and window coverings, then it is worth a
