Thanks for the review Valerie. The house is a great escape. You are correct, we decided to keep high speed internet, but purposely left out traditional cable TV and satellite . I'm glad you all enjoyed the many games and beach toys the house has to offer. Our goal was to create a place free of distractions and noise. We wanted to create an opportunity for family and friends to bond and truly enjoy each other as well as everything the house, and area has to offer. What Mr. Giorgi L fails to state is that he thoroughly trashed our home, ruined our lawn, did not follow check in nor checkout procedures, and then left it filthy after promising he would treat our home like his own. We took his deposit and he is angry. Just see our previous reviews and you will see that we treat our home and guests with the utmost respect.

Hi Daniel, As our historical reviews show, no one is perfect, but we work hard to make sure every guest is satisfied when vacationing in our home. Me, my family and my children love to share our home and our ultimate goal is to provide a unique, beautiful, fun, and safe getaway to others. It is most unfortunate, and it saddens, us that on rare occasion, a guest experiences an unexpected outcome at the end of there stay in our home. In this case the outcome was that the cleaning policy was not followed, as well as the furniture and walls were slightly damaged. Regarding responding to your message: We did respond to your message about the deposit deduction in the VRBO system. Perhaps you missed it. Regarding cleaning: Our goal is to pass on a reasonable cleaning fee to guests that allow them to enjoy our home, while also completing the necessary steps to make sure the property is prepared for the next family. The team spends 3-4 hours preparing the home for the next guests. This includes sanitizing the entire interior and exterior home for safety (which we were already doing prior to the Covid-19 outbreak), washing all linen, as well as vacuuming and deep cleaning each of the rooms. Regarding waste: As stated in the welcome guide and instructions, the home is located on a beautiful sanctuary. We are committed to preserving the beauty and Eco-system by practicing responsible waste management & disposal. While we want guests to enjoy the special location, as residents and guests we also need to participate in its preservation. This is reflected in our manual and policies. Its one small way we can contribute to the environment. Regarding communication: We are part of a community. There are community policies that we must follow to continue to allow guests to use our home. Unfortunately, we have had guests in the past that have not followed these policies. Therefor, we emphasize the importance of those policies in our communications. Similarly, we have had guests that perform damaging actions that contribute to the degradation of the homes interior. Therefor we also remind our guest to do such things as "not sit on the end tables", or"deck railing" as we have had guest in the past perform these actions resulting in damage. This has worked very well, and resulted in us being able to continue to offer this special location to others. Please don't hesitate to reach out directly or via VRBO, if you have more questions.

Raychel, First , we want to apologize for your negative experience. It appears that the sectional started breaking down recently as a result of a manufacturing defect. We did not know how bad it was until recently.. The issue will be resolved in by September 12. We also met with the cleaning tcrew to review cleaning procedures and the cleaning checklists. Normally, we would allow folks to check in and out on the same day. But we are looking into delaying all check-ins until the next day to give the cleaners ample time to clean. It takes them 3-4 hours to get the house ready for the next guest . Your feedback is very important.
