Welcome to Carlsbad Oasis
We’re so glad you’ve chosen our Carlsbad home for your stay. This peaceful coastal retreat is tucked at the end of a cul-de-sac near a nature preserve and was designed to be both relaxing and functional. We hope you enjoy every moment here. To ensure a great experience for everyone and preserve the home’s condition, please review and follow these house rules:
General House Guidelines
Please lock all doors and windows when you leave the home. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. No parties or large gatherings are permitted. This home is ideal for families, small groups, or extended stays, but not intended for events. No smoking is allowed inside the home. You are welcome to smoke on the patio. A $500 fee will be charged for any indoor smoking.
Rental Agreement & Security Hold
A signed rental agreement and a copy of your photo ID are required at the time of booking. A $5000 security hold will be placed two days before check-in and released seven days after checkout, provided there is no damage. This hold is processed securely through our booking system (OwnerRez) and is not a charge.
Animals
We welcome a well behaved dogs. Approval is required in advance, and an additional monthly pet fee applies. To help us ensure a grat stay for everyone, please share your dog's age, breed and weight when inquiring. We typically allow one dog per stay, but are happy to consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Cleanliness and Comfort
Please use placemats or trivets on both dining tables to prevent heat/cold damage. There are additional placemats in the far left cabinets of the stove or in the buffet cabinet in the dining room. Avoid eating in the bedrooms to help keep them clean.
Pool and Spa Use
Use of the pool and spa is at your own risk. No glass is allowed in or near the pool area. Please supervise children at all times. Please hang wet towels over the bar stools instead of on the furniture. Spa and pool and yard are serviced weekly (Thursdays). Sliders and Safety:
For families with children, please note that there is no pool fence. It is your responsibility to supervise children and ensure sliders remain closed and locked when not in use. Let us know if you need help understanding how to use any of the locks.
Supplies, Trash, and Housekeeping
We provide a generous starter supply of coffee, tea, spices, and household items. Please use what you need and leave anything unused for future guests. Housekeeping is typically provided for 30 day plus rental (to be discussed). Trash Pick up is on Friday mornings
Security and Liability
This property is equipped with exterior security cameras at the front, entry and side of the house. By booking this home, you accept full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay. We do not provide insurance and encourage guests to carry their own travel and rental coverage.
