Stay at Hale Kai Hideaways, Bungalow C, a comfortable and newly remodeled 2‑bedroom retreat located right on Aliʻi Drive in the heart of Kona town. You’ll be steps from the coastline and surrounded by some of Kona’s most loved beaches, surf spots, and local flavors.

Directly across the street is Turtle’s Beach, a favorite spot for watching honu and catching sunset (shoreline access is a short walk north over the rocks). You’re also just a quick stroll to Aliʻi Gardens Marketplace, home to Shaka’s Tacos, local coffee, handmade crafts, and island souvenirs.

This may be one of my top VRBO stays ever. The space was exactly like pictured but with even more charm and care. Everything we needed was there and so well organized. I appreciated the separate outdoor spaces to sit (complete with lights, fan, and great art) as well as the washer and dryer hidden out of site. The inside was filled with great touches such as coffee, make-up remover, ceiling fans, and so much more. I highly recommend this for anyone traveling to the area - the only downside was having to leave and come home
