Forest Pines Townhome Private, Wooded View, Near Lake

We recently stayed here with 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The place was large enough and well equipped for handling a group this size. The owner was prompt to respond to questions and requests.

The private beach access ($12/PP) was well worth it as we enjoyed the beach, lake, and sunshine.

The condo complex has its own private pool which was a great way to cool off if you're not at the beach! The place is set up with beach chairs, towels, blankets, toys etc so no need to pack your own.

If you are planning to cook outside then ensure to bring a few bags of charcoal for the outdoor bbq pits as individual units do not have their own bbq's.

Our only complaint was that there is no air conditioning in the unit - which made for some sleepless nights (until it cooled off outside). I would recommend that you keep all the windows wide open during the day for some air flow and to keep the temperature down!

Our weekend stay at this place was perfect for our family of 5. Kids had room, we had room, and the end unit was quiet and peaceful. Amenities were all there, close to the grocery store and other stores.

The photos don't do this place justice! We really enjoyed ourselves and hopefully will be back next year!

This condo was perfect! I rented it for two nights for a girls weekend to celebrate my 30th Birthday and we adored it! Everything was clean, comfy, and nice. I think it's actually nicer then the pictures make it seem. The condo is so close to great restaurants, stores, the beach, a casino, and a huge super market (Raley's).

First day we got there (in the early evening) we picked up some dinner from a place called Thai Recipe which was amazing! Then we just hung out and had a girls night back at the condo. The living room is perfect for a big group of people to get comfy in, chat, and play games. So much fun!

Next day I made breakfast in the kitchen and it was good. It had just about everything I needed to make a yummy meal. Then we got ready and headed to the condo's beach a block or so down the road. It's $12 per person to get in but so worth it because you can purchase cocktails from the bar there!! We, being on a girl's weekend, of course loved that! The beach was great but if you want to go in the water further then your ankles, get those water shoes and wear them out for sure!! There's about 5 feet worth of mean rocks under the water at the shore before you get to send and they hurt.

After the beach we got ready and headed to a really good restaurant called Bite that was about a 2 minute drive from the condo. The place was so good!! It's a Tapas bar that serves amazing food!! It's a nicer place so this was our night out. Check it out if you want to go to a swanky yummy place to eat.

The only drawback I would say (and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars) was that we found that the down stairs bathroom shower wasn't working. It was a little rough having only one shower for 8 women but we worked it out. I let the owner know. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Overall I would totally go back to this place and recommend it to everyone!! I super loved it and felt really comfortable and at home here. I hope to go back again! Thanks for an awesome stay!!

The location of the property is great, within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The townhouse is very child friendly, we traveled with a 2 and 7 year old and they were very entertained with all the toys, games, and movies the home has to offer. We give this home only three stars because we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The ceilings had cobwebs, there were chips bowls in the cupboards, the carpet was stained in may areas, the bed linens and towels were stained. One of the listed "to do" items when we checked out was to take all the linens off the beds and when we pulled the sheets off we were shocked to see how stained the pillows were, two of then even had blood stains. Under the kitchen sink there was waded up paper garbage and used sponges, which we would never have used. The bathroom cabinets also had used bottles and items from previous guests and we did not feel comfortable putting our things in there. The deck on the second floor had debris, it had not been swept in a long time. We would not recommend this property to our family or friends unless we know some changes were made and then we would give it five stars.
