Our journey to the Florida Panhandle began in 2018 when our son was stationed here. I (Sheila) had the privilege of driving across the country with his family as they relocated from his California post, and I immediately fell in love with this stunning area. I kept coming back year after year, always drawn to the beauty of the Gulf Coast. In the summer of 2022, when we learned that our son and his family were moving to a new post, we decided it was time to make this paradise our own. After some searching, we found the perfect spot in December of 2024—our very own White Sandy Beach Retreat was born!

We opted for this specific resort property because of it's close proximity to the beach (literally across the street from the Front Street Pedestrian Gate) and has loads of amenities included. With 11 pools on the grounds and the Beach House/Restaurant/Bar with a private pool for guests directly on the beach, you'll never feel crowded. There's tennis, shuffleboard, pickleball courts, cornhole and an 18-hole mini golf/putt-putt so there's always something to do! The gated community with 24/HR security/patrol allows for relaxing and safe atmosphere. Our back patio opens to the shuffleboard and mini golf area (free) and a newly renovated pool so you never have to worry about the kids, you can sit out back and watch them play while you grill. Need a golf cart rental? I can provide you with the onsite contact, with whom I partner with, to provide you a discounted rental. Oh, and if you're wanting to stay on your gym routine, we've got you covered, there is a gym on property, and all of this is included in your stay. Our unit is fully stocked with beach and sports equipment, 4 beach bikes and a fire pit. Walmart is less than a mile away as well as many restaurant and activities. Also, don't forget to check out Pirate's Voyage, Dolly's new dinner show!
The Gulf Coast is truly a magical place, with its powdery white sandy beaches and vibrant aqua blue waters. Our hope is that you’ll love and enjoy it just as much as we do, and we can’t wait for you to experience the beauty of this wonderful area. There are so many things to do whether is dining and dancing or just hanging out to the loads of shopping at Pier Park to the tons of family-oriented attractions, too many to mention here. You can even just relax by any of the 11 pools in the community, on the beach or by the pool on the beach, there are just so many options!
