Rooms were very clean. The firepit and back patio is amazing. Proximity to wineries is great. We had a wonderful time. No WIFI and No cell service did not stop us from a great time.

The home and amenities are fantastic! Comfortable and clean and easy to get to hikes with the details available in the guide book she has written. Beds and bedding are lovely. Porches are relaxing and fire pit is perfect for evening relaxation. Absolutely beautiful place to stay.

Booking At Joanne’s “Cabin on the Hill” property proved to be the most wonderful experience, from booking to checkout! I loved this rental! This quiet getaway was perfect for a private birthday celebration! The lawns were well kept and the house was immaculately clean - I would definitely stay here again! We were looking for a quiet place to relax between our adventures around southern IL. This cabin was perfect. It was clean, had anything we needed (except wi-fi), the front porch, back porch and surroundings provided a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors. Wow! We loved our stay here!! Our daughters were so pleased to find art supplies and games. We (the adults) were so happy to find a nice clean kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal. Quiet, Clean and Cozy

This cabin was everything we were looking for. It was quiet and secluded, no traffic noise at all. The cabin itself was extremely clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. We appreciated the owner's hospitable gestures such as providing charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. With numerous nearby hiking trails to pick from we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here.
