Property was very clean and neat. Good kitchen supplies, pots pans knives if you'd like to cook! Great starter packs for dish soap, dishwasher, and washer soap. Looks newly updated. Pool was very nice with some umbrellas lounge chairs and could always find room to sit. Beach is approximately a couple hundred yards so an easy walk. Saw a manatee with calf in the estuary from bridge and dolphins at the beach. Hit tennisballs on court. Wonderful place to relax!

Loved the unit! The pictures match the property. The owner was responsive and answered all questions. Bowmans beach is about a 10-15 minute walk. We appreciated the beach gear. ( Chairs, umbrella, beach buggy, and cooler) We can't wait to return. The 80 degree weather was perfect.

This condo was so comfortable that it felt like home. Great location to the private beach. Colleen was wonderful and full of information. She was a pleasure to deal with.We will definitely be back.

GREAT place!

We wanted to thank you for sharing your condo with us! It is a fabulous home away from home and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the home's decor, the like new pots and pans, the beach accessories, the large closets and so much more. We had a fantastic stay and will be so sad to leave tomorrow but we definitely hope to return!

Perfect beach getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo was exactly as listed. We only used the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The walk to the beach is not far. We saw manatees one evening while walking over the bridge to the beach. This was a truly relaxing vacation.

Fun and Relaxation

We stood at the property for 10 days and it was spectacular. The property had everything from coolers to beach carts to excellent kitchen tools for cooking. We had a delightful time at the beach caught some really nice fish and even cooked them at the apartment. The apartment had great wifi so "working from home" was no problem while we stayed on the island. I highly recommend this spectacular place. Check in was easy and smooth and the property and grounds were in excellent shape. Will stay again!

Peaceful paradise

Large condo, clean and well stocked. Very safe and quiet. It was so handy to have all beach towels and accessories available. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Great week! Host is very easy to communicate with. Only down side was there were only 2 wash cloths, may want to bring a few. Abundance of bath towels. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great week.

Dream Vacation

Beautiful condo. Well equipped with amenities. Walking distance to a private beach. May is the best time to visit. It’s after the tourist season and the weather is perfect. We had fun walking to the beach every day and grilling out most nights. The beach wasn’t too congested and we made use of the complimentary beach equipment. Make sure you buy more groceries than you think you will use because driving to Ft Myers is a good 50 mins minimum for Aldi and Walmart. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful property. We had the most comfortable bed in master bedroom. Beautiful short walk to Bowman's beach. Our only minor issue was after many hours in a car, when we arrived to condo, we had to use the bathrooms, and there was not 1 roll of toilet paper anywhere, no garbage bags, hand or dish soap, paper towels, it would not of been a issue if we would of known before hand to pick some up, we found some napkins and used them until we could return to the store later in the day to get supplies. We did leave hand soap, paper towels, a couple of garbage bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper for next renter.The best place we have stayed at so far.

I am so sorry Lori. We had a mixup with our cleaner. We always have toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. stocked for the new renters. We will make sure that this doesn't happen again. Thank you.

We were disappointed when opening the door to our condo for the following reasons. 1. strong moldy odor. 2. Multiple stains on dirty carpet 3. When opening windows to get some clean air, they would not stay open, dangerous as they could cut off a finger. The location, pool, and beach were beautiful. The condo was not.

Hello Pam. We were sorry and surprised to read your review. We want you to know that we have completely renovated the condo with new carpet, furniture, and paint. There are also stoppers for the windows. We do not have any mold nor is there a musty smell. The condo is beautiful and we hope that you will check out our new photos and consider staying with us again.

Old and Tired

We love visiting Sanibel and stay in a different condo each time. This one had problems from the beginning. Unlocking and locking the front door was a challenge. Once in the condo, it felt dirty. I didn't want to sit on the couch without first laying down a blanket. The kitchen was less than desirable, with the broken dishwasher door and ONE wine glass. Dryer did not dry clothes, had to lay them out all over the condo and on a laundry rack outside. Ended up taking wet clothes home. Will not be staying in this one again.

Thanks for your review, Jessica. We are so sorry you had a bad experience in our condo. Your feedback provided us with a to-do list to get the unit back in shape. We installed an electronic lock on the front door and repaired the jamb. There are all new pots and pans, new kitchen utensils and a full set of wine glasses! We installed a new washer and dryer and are installing new carpet next month. We also installed new toilets. Thanks again for your help and we hope you will continue to enjoy Sanibel.

Little Piece of Heaven

Our stay on Sanibel was so perfect! The condo was exactly what we needed. Perfect location - we were looking for something quiet, away from all the hustle and bustle, yet close enough when we wanted to run out for a meal or ice cream. Super close to the beach, with a private (for the condo complex) access to the beach, just a 5-minute walk. The beach itself was beautiful, wide, secluded, not crowded at all. The pool and tennis courts offered a variety of things to do without even leaving the property. All the rooms in the condo itself were spacious and well equipped, including a well-appointed kitchen. Clean, comfortable, with easy parking and beautiful landscaping around. Just gorgeous. Colleen was easy to reach and super responsive - the perfect host. Thank you so very much! We will be back :)

We stayed a little longer than a week because we live 14 hours away. It was a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone. We have 4 kids and 1/2 loved the pool and 1/2 loved the ocean. We got best of both worlds. I felt safe while staying on site and had everything I needed. Colleen recommend bike rentals for the week and loved it. We will do that again. We will be back and hope to stay again. Loved our family vacation, it was the best!!

Had a great time

My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We had never been to Sanibel before and found it fantastic. The condo was beautiful and Bowman's beach a short walk away, it is a perfect location. We will definitely be back again in the future.

Lovely condo

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. Condo is clean and nicely decorated. Beds are comfy. Nice towels. Good water pressure.. Pool and community is great. We played pickleball several times during our stay. Beach is a bit of a walk but cart makes it easier. Owner is lovely and checked in with us.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay in the this condo for a week. It was our home away from home. The condo had everything we needed from going to the beach to cooking dinner for ourselves. The condo was clean and decorated beautifully. Even when we were inside we felt we were at the beach. The only down side for us was it was on the second floor and one of the people that was in my group had a knee replacement 5 months ago. The steps were a challenge when we were out all day walking around. I just didn't think about that when I booked it. The complex was very nice. The pool was incredible. We enjoyed the heated pool and spent hours floating around on noodles. The pool was heated but not to the point that it was bath water. It was still refreshing to get in but you didn't have that shock to your body because it was so cold. Colleen was very responsive to questions we had and gave us great restaurant suggestions. Thank you Colleen for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of heaven for a week.

Very nice week in Sanibel.

We are two couples in our sixties, and enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was clean, well stocked with everything you need, and very comfortable. We spent time at the beach and the pool area and enjoyed both. Colleen was easy to contact prior to and during our stay and we had no problems with the unit. We would recommend getting another lamp for the second bedroom so each bed had a reading light. Only a very minor issue, and didn’t request it during our stay, just a suggestion. We were very happy with our weeks stay. The Ding Darling Refuge was very interesting and we had a good time driving/walking through it. We enjoyed Doc Fords for dinner and the Mucky Duck in Captiva very much. Don’t hesitate to stay here, it was a wonderful week!

Wonderful family vacation

We are so grateful to Colleen for the great week with our kids and 2 small grandkids. Check out was easy, the place was well equipped for all of our needs. Beds were very comfortable!! The pool area is absolutely fantastic and was a ton of fun for our 3 year old grandson - as well as our kids. The multiple grills available were sure nice and gave us some options for cooking for ourselves. The local 2 bald eagles that hang out in a tree on the property were there each morning and added to the number of very cool things we got to see during the week- (including a florida panther crossed the road in front of our car on Sanibel - Captiva road with its big body and long tail) The beach is a great hit - and we also enjoyed fishing up at Blind Pass Bridge in the mornings and caught a wide variety of fish. Sunrises with dolphins and amazing sunsets were big hits with my girls - along with shelling. Colleen was very responsive to questions we had and is a great host. The property was very quiet at night and quite active in the mornings - with options to jump in on tennis or pickle ball games. We hope to stay here again!!

Amazing stay

Everything about this vrbo and its location was wonderful! The condo was well appointed and Colleen has many thoughtful details that make for an easy vacation, smart tv, beach supplies quality linens, kitchen supplies etc.. The condo was spotless as was the complex. Sanibel and Colleen’s condo was amazing, we hope to be back!

My parents bought this condo in 1977 and we have had many wonderful times on the islands. My parents left the condo to my bother and me in 2017 and we are thrilled to be the second generation owners. I reside in Michigan and work as an actor ( stage, commercials, industrial films) musician and director. My brother has his own marketing business and lives in Minneapolis. We are both married and love spending time with our grown children and their families.

We hope that you will love staying in our home and that you will create many lasting memories during your stay on Sanibel as we have. We will respond quickly to any correspondence and should an issue arise we will send someone to attend to it promptly.

Our unit is close to the tennis courts, pool, and grills. The sidewalk to our unit leads directly to our carport. We have all the essentials you need for the beach which is a short 6 minute walk. We have renovated and tastefully decorated our unit as the perfect beach getaway.
