Our Tropical Penthouse is at the end of the second building and affords that extra peace and quiet that you search for when you want to get away from all of the hustle & bustle. I WILL HAVE A NEW TOUR SHOWING THE REMODEL: LVP FLOORING, BRAND NEW KITCHEN WITH UPGRADED APPLIANCES, ETC.

NOTE: THE BATHROOMS ARE NEWER: PRISTINE WHITE PORCELAIN WITH OIL-RUBBED BRONZE PLUMBING ACCESSORIES AND A HAND-MADE VANITY FROM INDONESIA IN THE MASTER BATH. THEY WERE NEWLY REMODELED NOVEMBER 2021.

We are located on the third floor and occupy a portion of the fourth floor, due to our soaring ceilings, which allow for a more open feeling. There are only a few of these unique penthouses on the entire island! (Actually, there are no high-rise buildings on Sanibel, but these units are fondly referred to as ''penthouses''). The 1,385 square feet are all on a single floor. My unit number is #283.

Unique Benefits of Our Family Home: Enjoy our deluxe TROPICAL PENTHOUSE. NEWLY REMODELED. We have a private linen/towel service so that everything will be 'hospital-clean' for you. Established island management company attends to your needs. ALL you have to do is RELAX.

From our enclosed and beautifully-furnished lanai, you can enjoy a quiet breakfast overlooking the well-manicured courtyard and watch the birds light on the palms, Bougainvillea plants, and lush foliage. And there is a distant view of the beach and ocean.

Take the stairs or elevator outside, stroll through the courtyard, pass one of the largest pools on the island (heated), and within a couple of minutes, you will find yourself on the world-renown shelling beach, gazing at the aqua waters with nothing between you and Mexico. Your only decision now is whether to sunbathe, swim or walk--without a care in the world.

Later you may want to walk, bike, or ride to local shops & restaurants. Or cross the bridge to find malls, larger grocery stores, movie complexes, and city conveniences.

Family Memories at The Tropical Penthouse: Our family purchased this condo in 1974, and we kept it as our special family retreat, affording us an abundance of wonderful memories. We had fun redecorating several times, and always kept the tropical theme. We only began to share our secret and to rent a few years ago.

We love to swim out to the buoy, lounge on the beach and read books to each other, bird and people watch, and bike 27 miles on safe bike trails. We go to Captiva, have a Starbucks soy milk and bike back again. We kayak, dance and dine at elegant restaurants as well as eat out at the casual restaurants, shop at Periwinkle Place, eat homemade ice cream at Pinocchio's, watch a sunset on the beach, and take romantic walks. Sometimes we even relax and fall asleep on the beautifully hand-carved bed with the comfy mattress, while ocean breezes surround us. We breathe deeply and sleep soundly. We are in our Tropical Paradise!

About Us: I was a ballerina and later had a career in sales/marketing for a fortune 500 company. My husband was a nuclear chemist. We are now both retired, and we return several times a year to enjoy our beautiful, tropical home. Although we have visited many resorts around the world, we have found that we love our Sanibel home the best! We hope that you will have a chance to enjoy our home and island as much as we do!

We want you to feel like honored guests in our home. We will be available to help you as much as possible. But since we are a state away, we have employed a well-established management/rental company to have your keys waiting for you, to answer any questions, and to just be on hand to make sure that everything is running smoothly & that you having the perfect vacation at our special get-away

We liked the size of the condo, the decor, and the high ceilings with no one above us. The elevator was handy and the covered charging station for e-bikes was helpful. The kitchen had everything you need. The grounds are pretty. The host was very responsive. We plan to come back!

The beach, Our Happy Place

My husband and I stayed here with my sister in law and her husband. The condo is tastefully decorated and had plenty of room. Our beds were comfortable! There were 4 beach chairs and it’s a short walk to the beach. We even enjoyed the pickleball courts.

This was such a wonderful trip. Me and my 6 year old daughter stayed for 7 days. The condo was so amazing, comfortable, spotlessly clean, stocked with anything random things you may need, and beautiful!!! Perfect room for 4 guests, so VERY spacious for just me and my daughter. Close proximity to the beach; maybe a 2 min walk. Nice pool! Zero complaints. Will definitely plan to revisit next year!

Thanksgiving get away

We were finally able to come to Sanibel again (travel restrictions lifted) and were pleased with how well the condo met our needs. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed and the room arrangement allowed the late risers to have their sleep undisturbed by the early risers. The beach was just a few minute walk away and we found that playing shuffleboard was a great afternoon activity..

Staying at this lovely place was so great! It was immaculate and had every single thing we could have needed. The location is fantastic. It is just a short walk to the beach. Ideal vacation home base

June was such a wonderful, sweet host and her condo is beautiful! It has so much character, a sparkling newly renovated kitchen, blissful air conditioning, an amazing quiet location, and access to pool and beach right outside the door! My family and I really enjoyed every moment of our time and June was so helpful. I highly recommend Sanibel and if you can snag this spot, you'll be right at home. June's style is so fun and has so much more personality than most places. It's just the right size for 4 adults, and the facilities are unbeatable. We will look forward to coming back one day soon!

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen has everything you need to bring your own food and cook it there which is nice during these covid times. The lanai was a great surprise. We loved having the glass doors open and enjoy the breeze as we enjoyed our meals. This is a very spacious 2 bedroom condo allowing us all to spread out. The walk to the beach was easy.

Paradise

A beautifully decorated condo with everything we needed. The owner, June, provided excellent assistance when we had to evacuate due to hurricane Milton, and when we were seeking to return. Took real personal interest in our situation and nothing was too much. A big thanks to Susan at Royal Shell who went above and beyond when we needed help to ensure a prompt return to Sanibel. All in all a great experience despite the worst Milton could throw at us.

What a Wonderful Trip we had last week at Sanibel-Capitiva Island!! Your Condo is Beautiful and was everything you said it would be!! We didn't want for anything because you had it all. Very Cozy and Confortable! The day we arrived my husband took a much needed catnap on the Lanai. June was so sweet and easy to talk with. We also recommend a trip with Captiva Cruises to Caya Costa Island. Well worth the money. The guides and staff were very nice and the island was so nice. Great Shelling in Crystal Clear waters and saw Dolphins on the way. Perfect Day and a Perfect Trip!!!

Updated and beautifully decorated

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and updated with high end appliances. Furnishings were attractive and comfortable. The main bedroom was tranquil with a wonderful mattess that was unusually high. I'm only 5 ft tall and needed the stepstool found the closet to get up. The lanai was separated from the bedroom and living area by sliding plantation panels. They looked very nice, but did not provide much privacy. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be a concern if a family shared the space. The condo was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed from pots and pans to beach chairs.
