Historic Little Daisy Villa Sleeps 4 Sedona Views
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Stunning views of the red rock magic of Sedona are 30 minutes away. Nestled in the mountainside community of beloved Jerome, population 440. A quirky artist town attracts over 1.5 million visitors every year. This historical villa sits on a private gated road. Neighbor to the iconic Little Daisy Jerome. After a day of exploring, soak in the spacious indoor bath that opens up with three doors to the surrounding views.
Villa Contenta was originally built for the Foreman of the Little Daisy mine. James Douglas built the Little Daisy Hotel for his miners and the two neighboring properties - One for his Engineer and The Villa Contenta for the foreman of the mine. All three sit on the hillside above his private Mansion, which is now a state park. The mines closed in 1953, forever changing their original intended use. Today - You can find these three properties all lovingly restored and available to the public for private stays.
To one side of these properties, the picturesque vista over the Town of Jerome is peacefully reminiscent of the Mediterranean countryside. At the same time, to the left, breathtaking views take you on a visual journey through Northern Arizona, from the greenery of creeks and rivers populating the Verde Valley across to the world-renowned Red Rocks of Sedona and Sycamore Canyon and up to Arizona’s highest mountain ranges, the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff.
