Your magical Colorado getaway is located right off of C470 and C285 for easy mountain access for winter sports as well as easy access to charming Denver for events or a night out. A private entry 2 bedroom 2 bath basement apartment with private amenities. 25 minutes to downtown Denver. About 1 hour to Keystone, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Breckenridge, & several other mountain resorts. We have 3 e-bikes that are available upon request with access to many beautiful trails through the foothills.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to Red Rocks and nearby amenities.A couple of things to be aware of: there are multiple stairs required to access the property, and noise from the owners living above was easily heard late at night as well as early in the morning. Aside from those issues, the property was comfortable and in a great location.

Location was perfect and convenient to local restaurants and day trips ! Very close to Red Rocks! Beds were very comfortable and smelled fresh and clean! Outdoor sitting area was comfy and where we stayed most of our time there. AC worked great ! Only suggestion is to have washcloths and maybe a few more hand towels . There were plenty of bath and hot tub towels.

Stayed for red rocks concerts. Good choice if that is your plan. Unit was very clean, spacious, and well described inside. Location is great with easy access to red rocks and other nearby amenities. It is a basement unit below a home; privacy was fine during our stay. Access is straight forward once you figure it out, though would benefit from better description in host’s messages during check-in. Communication with host is by phone call only, and was mostly good with a couple delays. Only concern was about a non-functioning lock keypad on the entrance which was not resolved during our 3-night stay. The door is not street-facing so we felt okay with that but others may not have been as comfortable. A more urgent fix would not be an unreasonable request in the situation.

This location was perfect for what we were looking for. We were busy skiing most of the day so this was a nice spot just for sleeping. Hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. Great experience

The house smelled like pot and we had to air it out and spray it with Lysol. We had to keep taking the lid off the tank in master bathroom because it wouldn’t fill after flushing. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. In a nice neighborhood

This was a great option for our weekend stay for a Red Rocks concert. I loved that it was dog friendly, clean, and conveniently close to the venue. I didn’t realize it was a basement apartment, as the description states “entire home,” but it still met our needs. Check in was a little confusing, there were no instructions for which door to use, which happened to be through a gate, down the side of the house, and in the back yard, luckily my husband figured it out. Overall it was a good stay and I would come back if I ever go to Red Rocks again!

If you plan on booking this one, you need to know that you will NOT be alone on the property. There are permanent residents in the actual house. The space available is a basement apartment. This fact needs to be clearly presented on the listing. It was not at the time I booked.Communication through the app with the host is cut and paste, stock communication from their side. I assume you need to call them directly. We didn't bother. We arrived 30 minutes early to find two cars in the driveway. We figured they were still cleaning the space so we went to get a bite to eat to give them some more time. We came back later to find one car in the driveway. While we were reading through the entry instructions (through the gate, into the backyard) the other car pulled up and a couple entered the house. Didn't say "hi" or offer any help. We were expecting to have a place to ourselves and the thought of sharing a place with strangers (including one parking space of a three-car width driveway) didn't enter our thoughts until we arrived. We weren't up for that, so we went a few blocks over to the La Quinta and got two rooms for the price of the VRBO we just wasted since it was too late to cancel. We can't speak to the cleanliness or any of the accommodations. We high-tailed it out of there.I can say that the show at Red Rocks rocked mightily.

Great place

Host needs to communicate with the guest in a timely manner as the efforts were made to make a booking modification but the host was not aware of my requests and consequently made a another booking and messed my plans up completely.

Did not have time to use the hot tub although it looked very inviting. House was very clean, had keurig with pods, was very accommodating. The only rough patch was told in email the code to enter would be last 4 of my cell number, had to call the owner because it wasn’t working, he told me what code was. He was receptive and answered phone for me. Everything else was very smooth. Great location to red rocks. Would stay again

Host is horrible. Our heat in the basement apartment was freezing. We had to buy a space heater to keep warm. We contacted the host and he got back to us Sunday morning at 3 am. There were trash bags piled up outside by hot tub. We got in Saturday night and the tennants upstairs were smoking pot so the basement reeked of weed. Tried to reach them about some type of refund and were completely unresponsive.

The instructions state to not text, but rather to call, to receive immediate assistance. We would have happily changed the temperature for you. The previous tenants upstairs have been removed due to failure to remove the trash and maintain the hot tub as per their lease. The new tenants have been there since January and remove the trash like clockwork and keep the hot tub crystal clear.

The host did not respond at all to my messages, the people upstairs were very loud. Sounded like a people moving furniture and stopping feet. There is no thermostat to adjust the temperature and I froze at night. I messaged the host several times with zero reply.

Communication was terrible but I think that was a VRBO issue and not the host. The phone number provided by the host was not correct and it took us forever to get into the unit. Space was very nice though, especially the patio. Yard needs attention. Bathtub has a constant leak that needs to get fixed. Area was nice and close to stores, red rocks etc

Hard to get into

This place was nice with plenty of amenities and had a fantastic hot tub! That said, there were some cleanliness issues and it was difficult to get into… especially if you have a lot of luggage and other items to haul into this space. I would give a solid 0 stars for accessibility! The host was very responsive to emails and got to my questions and concerns promptly.

Communication error

Was a great place and attempted to extend my stay but the app would not allow it and the booking was made despite notifying the host. Poor service and communication was the reason suggest the host pay closer attention to his customers

In a nice quiet neighborhood with a great hot tub and a nice backyard. Easy access to foothills, Morrison and Red Rocks A few minor things that could be improved upon: We arrived after dark, so the stairs leading down the backyard were a little dangerous without any lighting There was one hand towel in each bathroom and no washcloths for a three night stay There were instructions to wash used dishes before leaving but no dishcloths to do so There was trash in the master bathroom wastebasket when we arrived The master bedroom had a mild damp/sweat/sour smell to it

On May 23, 2026 we arrived at the home we booked. We had another couple with us who also booked, celebrating their honeymoon. when we walked into the bed rooms the beds were unmade and you could tell no one cleaned this house. We contacted the host and explained. The host said that his cleaners car had gotten hit she would not be able to drive over to clean. He asked if there were any extra towels or bedding if so he would refund the cleaning fee and part of our stay. we did not so we asked him what should we do now? He said he was unable to get another cleaner over take care of the situation on a holiday weekend and he could come over and bring what we need. He said he was 30 minutes out. 1 1/2 later he showed up. We had stripped the beds to make it easier for him and the mattress cover on one was horribly stained. when that was pointed out to him he said he didn't see a problem with it. We had taken pictures of all this. He was on the phone with someone and we overheard him say "I'm going to cancel this and refund their money, I'm out of here". He left with no where to go or explanation. When we texted him to see what we were supposed to do now. He texted back "Leave" "Your money will be refunded". He proceeded to harass me the rest of the day through text and said we should have been more understanding. This person did not take accountability for any of it he put blame on us, his cleaner through another text and became very rude.

I responded promptly when you informed me that the cleaners never showed up. I was incredibly concerned for your experience and rushed across town to take care of everything. Upon walking into the house and sincerely apologizing I was crowded by 3 intense individuals and spoken to aggressively and threatened, then yelled at from across the unit by another person. I could not have left quicker. Upon doing so I was chased down the street by the guest. It was terrifying. I had the reservation cancelled immediately and watched from afar to assure that they left.

There are two bedrooms with a bed in each. There is no futon, it’s a couch that will sleep one person and good luck on that.Beds were comfortable. Bad pillows! Access to the lower level of the house for this basement rental, is down concrete outdoor stairs that are narrow and could seem steep for anyone with mobility issues. Basement rental smells like strong marijuana. Had to turn fan on high and open the door to ventilate for about 45 min to an hour. There is a single K-cup coffee maker, but you must bring your own cups as none are provided. The owner will send you several massages about rules and instructions for the rental. But on the coffee table by the TV, there are different instructions for check out, different maximum person capacity listed than on the VBRO post, and two different names and numbers listed for assistance. Due to conflicting information, we followed the actual posting on VBRO/private messages instructions. You will be charged a 100 cleaning fee in the price of the rental at the time of payment. So it’s was interesting when I was walking down the stairs to the entry and found a 1/2 full black trash bag on the stairs, almost fully blocking the path. A random trash can grey lid, chip clips, and a piece of scrap wood, all in the walkway area to the entrance of the rental. There is one spot in the driveway to park. If you have two vehicles, one must be parked down the street near the entrance by the mailboxes, and not in front of the house.
