The place was clean, had everything we could have needed, the yard was huge, fenced in, and amazing - my dogs loved it. It was quiet there, which was nice!!! We really enjoyed the place!

We had a great time in Stevensville, and the surrounding area. The yard was perfect for our dogs, they loved sniffing a new spot. Plenty of space in the house to relax and read when the weather wasn't cooperating. Excellent stay, highly reccomended.

We loved our get-away in the barn! So cute, relaxing and comfortable. Our pup had a great time too. The baked treats were a treat. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out and provided, from lighting to beds/bedding to kitchen staples. Ann was a terrific host, and check in and out was a breeze. It was perfect and I hope to return. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Stayed for wedding for a couple days. House was convenient to all our locations. The inside is full of books and art and lots of things to look at. Bedroom upstairs was warm but they provided a fan that was awesome and cooled it right down. Really cool place to stay. The best part of the whole thing was our host Ann made some desserts for us that were great. Great communication and easy in and out for sure.

Anne and Tim are such a wonderful hosts. There was a lemon frosted poundcake for me on my arrival. They loved on my Dogs fin and Winston and even helped let them out while I was at work. We had such a good time together. I can’t wait to stay there again and have already booked my next time in June.

A cozy, serene barn stay!

We absolutely loved our weekend in Stevensville! The space was perfect for myself, my husband, and our dog. The lofted bedroom was much larger than we expected, with a bed, seating area and TV, and large table. The decor in the barn made for a very homey feel. Thank you to Ann and her husband for a wonderful stay!

This is an absolutely charming stay. It’s full of whimsy and plenty of entertainment. The hosts are just lovely. The barn is comfy, relaxing, and a perfect place for some R&R. The fenced yard and gardens are gorgeous and were perfect for our dog. The location is close to a number of towns and outdoor spaces. Our only regret is we didn’t stay long enough.

Ann and Tim were very welcoming! They had a nice home baked goody for us when we arrived. The accommodations were warm and cozy, with plenty of room to stretch out. Our 2 dogs loved the backyard and the walks at the facility next door! The backyard does have some areas on the fence that are not quite dog proof, but we kept them on-leash and we were fine. We had a lovely stay and look forward to returning!

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Barn and can't wait to return! This place has so much character – from the unique wooden art to the impressive collection of books that made us want to stay in and read.Our dog absolutely loved the spacious backyard. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful touches: dog-safe bug spray, extra sunscreen, and plenty of towels for lake trips. The owner clearly thinks about what guests need.Communication was excellent throughout, and the homemade carrot cake waiting for us was a delightful welcome! The Red Barn is quirky in all the best ways – full of personality and warmth. We're already planning our next visit!

A magical place!

My family felt so at home and relaxed in this unique and beautiful space! The natural wood finishes and exposed beam ceiling create a warm and cozy feeling, enhanced by the fun antiques, artwork, family board games, and books. Our hosts personalized our stay with delicious home-baked treats and recommendations on local attractions. The fridge and pantry were stocked with essentials (a first for a vacation rental). Our dogs loved the huge backyard and nearby (next door) woodland trail. We especially enjoyed Rocky Gap Park Beach (good rock hunting and very few people) and Riverview Park for dog walking with accessible water access. This is our new favorite place to visit on the Lake Michigan shore.
